Answer: 1984

In '84, Liverpool won the league title by three points from Southampton. Nottingham Forest were third. They defeated Merseyside rivals Everton in the League Cup Final and beat Roma on penalties to lift the European Cup. Everton beat Watford in the FA Cup Final and Tottenham beat Anderlecht on penalties in the UEFA Cup Final.
2. Which two countries contested the 2004 Davis Cup Final?

Answer: USA and Spain

Spain defeated USA 3-2 in Seville in December 2004, to win their second Davis Cup after disappointment in the 2003 Final where they lost to Australia in Melbourne.
3. How many constructors teams competed in the 2004 Formula 1 championship?

Answer: 10

Ferrari won the Constructors Championship with 262 points. BAR Honda were second with 119. Renault were third with 105. The other teams were: Williams, McClaren, Sauber, Jaguar, Toyota, Ford, and Minardi.
