Apart from the trade for Burke, the only other trade that Snow was a part of was when the Nordiques moved to Colorado. He had played for the New Jersey Devils, the Hartford Whalers, the Vancovuer Canucks, the Carolina Hurricanes, the Philadelphia Flyers, the Florida Panthers, the Phoenix Coyotes, the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Los Angeles Kings. The fourth that he stopped was on Peter Schaefer of the Ottawa Senators on December 30, 2005. The only goal he conceded on the penalty shot was on January 2, 2006 against Vincent Lecavalier of the Tampa Bay Lightning.
10. As General Manager of the Islanders, Garth Snow made a deal unlike any ever seen before it. Garth signed goaltender Rick DiPietro to a very long contract, the longest official contract in hockey history. How long was the deal for?

Answer: 15 years

Garth Snow was the backup to DiPietro in the 03-04 and 05-06 season. Snow apparently liked Rick's play so much that he signed him to a contract that extends to the year 2021. DiPietro was the first goalie ever drafted first overall, in the 1998 entry draft.
