Answer: Carl Yastrzemski

'Yaz' also won the MVP in 1967. Everything went Boston's way that season, until they met the St. Louis Cardinals in the World Series. Although Yastrzemski hit two home runs and batted .400, the Red Sox lost to the Cardinals, four games to three. The Cardinals' Bob Gibson was the Series MVP.
