Rohan Dennis from Team BMC broke the record for the fastest ever Tour de France time trial (not including prologues). He completed the course at an average speed of 55.446 km/h (34.5 mph). Dennis had broken the World Hour Record in February 2015, holding the record until Alex Dowsett broke it again in May 2015.
