Margaret won silver in 50m Rifle, Three positions, losing to Lanny Bassham. Both Lanny and Margaret's scores were the same. The judges then looked at the targets they had been shooting at and decided that Lanny was the winner. Margaret was competing for the USA at the 1976 Summer Games. This was the only medal Margaret won while competing in Olympics.
