Emily called her Mira a few times, but Lorelai only had to say it once, be corrected, and never say it again. They went on to discuss recently removed cooks Heidi, Trina, Sophia and Anton.

Rory was surprised to find out that her mother was not the first Lorelai, but the second. She was named after her paternal grandmother.

Lorelai took the blame for the flower switch and explained it worked as a nice compromise of the two colors. When the girls started brow beating Lorelai, their mother spoke up that it was actually her idea and not Lorelai's. She told her identical twin daughters that if they wanted the other two colors they could pay for it themselves.
