Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Did Celia offer to fly in her long lost daughter for a campaign photo?

Answer: Yes

Not seen since the very first episode, Quinn Hodes' name was finally mentioned again! She was sent to a Mexican boarding school at the start of season one, but Celia offered to fly her home just to pose in the campaign photo. Quinn declined, due to the hypocrisy of the situation, but sent her love to Dean. She also requested that he send her some AA batteries and Smores flavored Pop-tarts.
Dean also declined to be in Celia's photo, once again based on the hypocrisy!
2. What sweet event did Nancy acquire the secret location of?

Answer: Mohasky Cup

According to Doug, this was the top secret weed convention, and very hard to get into. When asked how she did it, Nancy claimed to be "just that good". It turned out, however, that her connection was Craig X from the Bodhi Sativa club. Mohasky is another word for marijuana.
3. Conrad was in search of weed funding throughout this episode. On his first try, he went to a bank to get a loan to grow which fictional product?

Answer: hydroponic lettuce

Conrad went to a bank where a friend of his worked. Tyrell told Conrad he wasn't risking his own job to give him a "grow loan", even if Conrad had protected him when they were younger. He did offer Conrad a free bank calendar before he left. Tyrell was played by actor Chris Williams, brother of actress Vanessa L Williams.
4. Much to Silas' dismay, which university did Megan get accepted to?

Answer: Princeton

Megan excitedly delivered her news to Silas, who was less than thrilled to hear it. Apparently, their original plan was to have her go to UCLA and a year later he would begin Northridge. Then, they could get an apartment together. She made it clear she wouldn't be turning down Princeton, and Silas accused her of being accepted because she is deaf. That really made her mad, and she broke his door as she stormed from his room.
5. What movie did Andy compare Judaism to?

Answer: Ghostbusters

Andy told Nancy that a gozar was a Jewish doctor that performed a circumcision. Then, he mentioned that his Bat Mitzvah theme was "Ghostbusters", and that we all know Gozar the Gozarian was the villain of that movie. So, there for Judaism is like "Ghostbusters".
6. Doug signed Celia's campaign petition.

Answer: True

Celia came over to Nancy's house, assuming Nancy had read an email she sent. She wanted Nancy to help her get signatures, so she could run for City Council. Doug came over a little later, as he, Nancy and Andy were heading out to the Mohasky Cup. He told her he did not view her as a threat and signed her sheet.

He signed it with a vulgar name, instead of his own, and called her some hateful names as well.
7. More of Conrad's funding adventures lead us to a drug dealer named U-turn. What did U-turn do to one of his buddies, when the group wouldn't be quiet?

Answer: threw a knife into him

Conrad went to a friend named Mike for his second choice. Mike was impressed with Conrad's plant, but not willing to cross Heylia. U-turn proved to be a hard core gangster type of drug dealer, and was totally willing to fund Conrad. He told Conrad he wanted it to be his way only, and he'd split 60/40 the profits.

After U-turn threw a knife into his own friend, Conrad told the man he needed more time to think it over. It was not long afterward, you saw him reading over a bunch of text messages from Nancy. Former "Desperate Housewives" guest star Page Kennedy played U-turn.
8. Alejandro Rivera was called up from the minor leagues in this episode. Was it the Toronto Blue Jays that he would be playing for?

Answer: Yes

He told Nancy and her gang of merry men this news, after Nancy killed the plant from Mohasky, Dean was unable to find a grow house, and Sanjay couldn't get into the hydroponics seminar. They congratulated him, but it was clearly time to get Conrad back into the picture!
9. Where was Andy, when he created the essay that got him past Yael Hoffman and into rabbinical school?

Answer: ladies room

Nancy found Andy on the floor of the ladies room at Mohasky. He'd taken a roll of brown hand napkins down and began his essay on what being a Jew meant to him. Yael told him it had moved her and asked if his brown role was to represent a "Torah". She told him he was in the school, but on probation. In the next episode, no spoiler here, you see the rest of the students are teenagers!
10. How much insurance money did Nancy get from the bakery fire?

Answer: $80,000

This was the final piece of the puzzle, which drew Conrad back into her circle. He needed funding, and alas, she was the only friend who had it to give. He accepted her offer, but I think he may live to regret it.
At the end of this episode, Peter informed Nancy he knew she was a drug dealer the entire time they'd been dating. She got out of his SUV, and threw up right in front of Celia's campaign poster. The poster was of Celia and the annoying "rat dog" from next door. It was the only thing she could get to pose with her!
