Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Who was Peggy pretending to be in the opening scenes?

Answer: Isabelle's publicist

Peggy was telling Isabelle how "hot" she was, as Isabelle wore sunglasses and posed as a celebrity. Later, the duo are caught kissing by Celia. Olivia Sui played Peggy.
2. Who was Nancy talking to (on the phone) at 1:15 a.m., when her doorbell rang?

Answer: Peter

She hurriedly confirmed her plans with him for the next day, and got off of the phone. She opened the door to find a police officer returning Silas to her. Silas and Megan were caught trying to break into a model home, and Silas was high on ecstasy.
3. Andy received a letter in the mail informing him that the US Army wanted him to go to Iraq.

Answer: True

He went to his friend Doug for advice. He claimed to be "off the grid Andy", but they'd found him anyway. Doug reminded Andy that he'd been caught with pot and was now "in the system Andy". Doug told Andy that all he could do for him was to place a yellow ribbon sticker on his vehicle.
Andy had joined the Army reserves while living in Colorado, just to impress a woman. That is typical Andy behavior!
4. Who did Doug claim sold him marijuana when he was in college?

Answer: Laura Welch

Laura Welch went on to marry George W. Bush. I am not sure how this show got away with making the reference to her selling weed. He said he was pro-Bush because he loved Laura (like a friend), as she'd sold him weed in college. Though we cannot confirm the age of Doug, Laura Bush is seven years older than actor Kevin Nealon. So, the odds are against the duo attended SMU together as he suggested. Did you know that Laura killed her own boyfriend in a tragic traffic collision when she was seventeen? He (Michael Douglas) was the driver in the car she hit when she ran a stop sign. Laura and her passenger suffered minor injuries. How sad is that?
5. Did Peggy lie to her grandparents about the reason Celia wanted her to go home?

Answer: Yes

After Celia caught Isabelle and Peggy kissing, she told Peggy it was time for her to go home. Peggy called her grandparents and lied. She said she was forbidden to play with Isabelle ever again, because Celia hated immigrants. Celia told Isabelle she was not going to chose to be a lesbian just because she did not want to lose weight.

This is when Isabelle informed her mother that Celia was a nicer person when she thought she was dying.
6. Who proposed the idea of growing their own product to Nancy?

Answer: Conrad

Conrad did not appreciate his Aunt Heylia forcing him to chose between her and Nancy. Not only did he really like Nancy, but he wanted to share his idea with her. He tried to offer the idea to Heylia first, but she shut him down immediately. That was all he was willing to take off of her, so he brought his little hydro plant to Nancy at the fakery.
7. Who did Andy ask to cut off one of his toes?

Answer: Nancy

Andy was thinking of ways to avoid deployment to Iraq. So, he asked Nancy to cut off a toe with garden shears. She was just about to do it, when he chickened out. He said he may have to move to Vermont and marry a man to avoid the military.
8. Vaneeta had a baby boy.

Answer: True

She went into labor during Heylia's tirade about Conrad's hydro idea. But, the hospital sent her right back home, as she was only two centimeters dilated. Her water broke on Heylia's favorite chair and the baby ended up being born at home.
9. What was the name of the little boy Isabelle found Peggy kissing?

Answer: Grayson

Peggy thanked Isabelle for the kissing lesson, as it seemed to make Grayson like her a lot. Isabelle seemed crushed. The incorrect choices are all characters from "The L Word".
10. Who did NOT attend the "Godmother" meeting at the very end of the episode?

Answer: Celia

Nancy called Doug in to discuss Conrad's idea of growing their own supply of weed. Conrad had the idea worked out, but he needed help. So, Nancy called in Doug, Dean, Sanjay, and Alejandro, and then Conrad met them at her house. Andy begged to allowed in, so she did, introducing him as Yentl.

The episode, and season, closed with Nancy holding the hydro plant, surrounded by her "minions", like Marlon Brando in "The Godfather". Lupita closed the patio doors to block Shane's view of their meeting.
