Bruce and Dick were about to watch The Green Hornet's TV show on their television set when it was interrupted by a special broadcast. The Joker appeared on the broadcast and said he was able to deliver his address through a jamming system. The Joker gave Batman a clue to the location of his next crime during this address.

The episode ended with Batman and Robin captured by The Joker as he planned to kill them both once and for all. For Batman, The Joker placed him inside a key duplicator. Batman reminded The Joker that evil may have triumphed temporarily but that it never conquered.

The Joker laughed and simply said he would be sure to put that sentence on Batman's tombstone after he died in the key duplicator.
