Margot Al-Harazi had sent Simone to eliminate Naveed's sister and niece, Farah and Yasmin, but Yasmin had escaped, and Simone was hit by a bus while chasing her. Simone was unconscious in the ambulance, so when her phone rang, the paramedic answered it.

He told Margot what had happened and that they were taking Simone to the hospital. Margot hung up before the paramedic could get her name.

Answer: Adrian Cross

In the sixth hour of "24: Live Another Day", we discovered that Steve Navarro was a bad guy, but we didn't know with whom he was working until now. Adrian Cross was the head of the "Open Cell" group, dedicated to disseminating government secrets. Cross's actions up until now were a bit ambiguous - he helped Chloe O'Brian with Jack Bauer's operation but also tried to sabotage Bauer. But his willingness to send a "cleaner" to deal with CIA analyst Jordan Reed showed the true side of Cross.

Answer: She wanted to prevent Simone from betraying her again.

Margot Al-Harazi had one of her team go to the hospital to find out information on Simone's condition. The man phoned Margot and told her that the authorities might have an easy time getting Simone to talk because he had overheard an agent (Kate Morgan) say that Simone had decided to protect Farah and Yasmin from Margot. Margot had ordered Simone to get rid of Farah and Yasmin, so she realized that Simone had disobeyed her order. Margot told her son Ian to have the drone target the hospital because she wasn't going to allow Simone to betray her again.

Answer: To plan the transition of power from Heller to the vice president

There were some heated moments between President Heller and Prime Minister Davies following the MI5 interruption of Jack Bauer's mission. Davies revealed to Heller that he knew about Heller's condition, and Heller replied that he would resign if he thought that his health was affecting his job performance. Heller had originally planned to step down after his term, but as the hour wore on, he came to realize that it wasn't possible to wait that long. He asked Mark Boudreau to set up a meeting to work on the transition of power.

Answer: The satellite footage showed the vehicle was empty before the strike.

Jack Bauer spotted the man that Margot Al-Harazi had sent to check on Simone in the hospital, and after a short chase, the man was shot dead by security staff. Bauer saw a text message from Margot on the man's phone, indicating that the hospital would be bombed in four minutes. Bauer and Kate Morgan were able to get Simone out of the hospital before the drone strike, but Margot spotted them on the satellite feed and had her son Ian target them with the other drone missiles.

After a few misses, Ian successfully hit a vehicle that the three had just been in, but when Margot asked him to roll back the footage to confirm the kill, she saw that the vehicle was empty. Bauer had commandeered another vehicle in a tunnel and used a piece of block to "drive" the empty vehicle out of the tunnel.

Answer: Wembley Stadium

We saw part of President Heller's conversation with Margot Al-Harazi in the seventh hour, when Heller asked Al-Harazi to give her word that she would destroy the drones if he surrendered to her. In this hour, Heller showed a copy of the video conversation to Jack Bauer to ask for Bauer's assistance.

Heller told Al-Harazi that in exchange for meeting her demands, the drones would need to be dumped off the coast of Dover. She agreed and ordered him to go to Wembley Stadium at 7 PM.

Answer: Mark Boudreau

President Heller had originally only wanted to include Jack Bauer in his decision because he needed Bauer's help in getting to the designated location in secrecy. However, Bauer told him that he needed the Secret Service and security guard schedules to get Heller out of the building so he asked Heller to include one other person that he trusted.

Heller chose Chief of Staff Mark Boudreau, which was awkward for Boudreau, since this meant that he knew Heller was going to die, but he couldn't tell his wife, Heller's daughter.

Answer: Pulled a gun on the doctor

When Kate Morgan brought Simone Al-Harazi to the CIA infirmary, the doctor told her and Steve Navarro that he needed to induce coma and drill into Simone's skull to relieve the pressure. The doctor told them they couldn't talk to Simone for an hour or two. That didn't work for Jack Bauer.

He told Morgan that the president had decided to meet Margot Al-Harazi's demands and that Morgan needed to wake Simone up to find out what she knew. Morgan pulled a gun on the doctor in true Bauer style, and the doctor revived Simone long enough for her to give information on the Al-Harazi house and on a disc that could allow them to access the drone override system.

Answer: An implanted transponder chip

President Heller had a transponder chip implanted in his arm that was used to keep track of him. Jack Bauer had to remove it before getting him out of the building or else the Secret Service would be able to follow him. Bauer cut it out of his arm and left it in the president's office so that the Secret Service would think he was still in the building.

Heller grumbled "You've done enough damage as a federal agent, Jack. Thank God you didn't become a surgeon".

Answer: He'd given Bauer a full pardon.

"End of the road, Jack". President Heller told Jack Bauer that he'd given him a presidential pardon for all charges from four years ago and for any that would come about from his actions that day. Of course, the rendition order for Bauer was still out there, unbeknownst to both of them, and the Russians probably weren't going to accept the pardon.

Heller said "This is the right way for me to go" before being blown up by the drone.
