Answer: Christopher Amitrano

Amitrano, born on September 14th, 1973 in New York City guest starred as Burditt in this episode. This was the only episode of the entire series where Amitrano made a guest starring appearance. She has also guest starred on the TV series', "24", "ER" and "NYPD Blue".

Answer: Steve Boatright

Boatright made a guest starring appearance in this episode as Steve. This was the only episode of "Lost" where he played Steve but he starred in two previous episodes playing two different characters. He has had roles in the films, "The Orb", "The Cleaner" and "One Night Many Moments".

The episode began with a meeting of many people on the island and the "Man in Black" (Locke) told Jack how he was hopeful he would eventually come to him. Locke then said he and Jack had some catching up to do. Jack asked Hurley if he was alright with him talking to Locke alone and Hurley said he was fine with it.

There was a flash sideways scene which showed Locke inside an ambulance after he had been run over in the previous episode by Desmond Hume. The paramedic was reading off some vitals of Locke's, which included a blood pressure reading of 62 over 30. Ben was seen right by Locke's side in the ambulance.

While riding in the ambulance, Ben was asked by the paramedic if he knew of any family members or friends who could be an emergency contact for Locke. Ben said he did not know anyone but Locke heard the question and responded that they could use Helen Norwood, his fiancée, as an emergency contact. Ben informed Locke that he would eventually marry Helen as he would survive his injuries.

As the opening credits rolled, Sawyer and Hurley were seen talking about Charles Widmore and Sawyer mentioned to him that Charles had a submarine. Sawyer stated that his intention was to use Charles' submarine to get off the island. Hurley asked Sawyer if they would tell Sun and Sawyer said that Kate was telling her about the submarine.

In a previous episode, Kate ran into Sawyer's car and Sawyer arrested her and was first seen in a flash sideways scene in this episode talking to Kate. Sawyer read off her list of charges which included arson, assault on a federal officer and first degree murder. Kate asked Sawyer if there was something he wanted so he asked her if she remembered they were on the same flight from Sydney. Kate said she remembered him so Sawyer stated how weird it was they were on the same plane and then she smashed into his car.

Midway through the scene, Claire was seen in a flash sideways scene entering a building and telling the desk clerk she had an appointment with the Western Pacific Adoption Agency. He instructed her where to go in order to get to the agency and then asked Claire to sign in on the provided sheet. As Claire was signing her name, Desmond saw her and said hello.

John and Sayid spoke in one scene about how they were going to go look for Desmond and then John mentioned that Sayid would be the one who would kill him. When Sayid looked confused, Locke asked him if there was a problem and Sayid said no. John promised to give Sayid what he asked for in exchange for his killing Desmond.

When Claire informed Desmond she was going to an adoption agency, Desmond offered to have her speak to a lawyer since adoption contracts were complex. Claire said she did not have the money to see a lawyer but Desmond still offered to help her out if she spoke to a lawyer. Desmond then introduced Claire to Ilana (the same Ilana from the island) and said she was both a lawyer and a friend.
