Martha was preparing for an acapella performance so she asked her three assistants to help her. A gentleman nearby was advised to pull a lever to make it look like it was snowing. As he pulled hard, blood appeared and then they saw the corpse.

The team pulled up the victim's rap sheet and she had committed a few crimes. One of the crimes listed was grand theft auto. They learned that Robyn stole a car and crashed into a house. They believed this could lead them to Robyn's killer.

Castle told Martha that it looked as if Robyn was going to return to a life of crime. Martha insisted that Robyn was a good girl who was going to turn her life around and better herself. Castle mentioned that she was meeting with a group of people twice a week in East Harlem and he wondered if this could help lead him to her killer.

There were clues which Richard had seen that were related to Robyn's death so he asked Alexis and Martha to help him out. They pieced everything together and it looked as if Robyn was murdered near a shopping mall. Martha suggested that they get the police to go with them since the mall was in a bad neighborhood but he assured her they would be fine.

Castle and Alexis were stunned to see that Robyn connected up with people who enjoyed singing. They spoke to a few of them and one girl said that Robyn agreed with the others to kick out someone named Agnes. Richard and Alexis felt this would give Agnes motive to murder Robyn.

Midway through the show, Kate spoke with someone named Harvey Larson and it was revealed that he judged a capella competitions. He informed them that he did not approve of Robyn since she was an ex-convict and the organization which judged the competitions was highly respected. Kate noted that Larson was nonchalant about Robyn's murder.

The team learned that Robyn went to Percy Johnson's place right before she died. Percy falsely claimed that he saved Robyn's life after she crashed the car so Robyn confronted him about this lie. The team then suspected that someone else was involved in the grand theft auto incident.
