1. Throughout "Inuyasha", the Shikon Jewel is known as various names. What is the original name for the Shikon Jewel?

Answer: Shikon No Tama

The original name for The Sacred Jewel is in fact "Shikon No Tama". All of the choices I provided are alternate titles used for The Jewel.

2. The Shikon Jewel was created from which of these Priestesses?

Answer: Midoriko

Midoriko was in battle with a demon for a total of seven days and seven nights. It was said that Midoriko had a strong spiritual power that was equivalent to one hundred samurai warriors. Battling for so long, she grew week and locked the demon within her very soul.

When she did this, the Shikon No Tama blew out of her chest. Later on, Kikyo was given the Sacred Jewel for protection and Keade is her younger sister (who helps Kagome when she first comes to The Feudal Era). Tsubaki is a rival of Kikyo and sold her soul for everlasting beauty.

She later joins Naraku to kill Kagome and get revenge on Kikyo.

The Four Souls that make up The Sacred Jewel are Aramitama, Nigimitama, Kushimitama, and Sakimitama.

During episode 94 and 95, Inuyasha and the gang meet up with a Scholar named Izumo who later reveals his demon form Guy-oh. He plans to use Inuyasha, Kagome, Shippo, Sango, and Miroku to make another Jewel.

In Episode 94 when you meet Izumo, he explains to Inuyasha and his friends about The Shikon Jewel. He explains what each soul represents and what they mean.

In Episode 95, Guy-oh (Izumo's demon form) explains to Kagome in order to make a perfect Sacred Jewel, you must obtain these Four Souls. He mentions to her that they would be the ingredients for his recipe which made Kagome the main ingredient. Inuyasha would be Courage, Shippo would be Friendship, Miroku would be Knowledge, and Sango would be Love.

Kikyo and Keade found Onigumo burned badly, on the edge of death. While they are out searching for herbs, Onigumo admits he loves Kikyo and gives his soul to a demon who completely takes over his body. The demon was named Naraku.

Goshinboku is the true name of The Sacred Tree or The Tree of Ages. Goshinboku is the tree in which Kikyo seals Inuyasha with her Sacred Arrow. After sealing him, she falls to her death. Kikyo asks Keade to burn The Jewel along with her body. Three hundred years later, Kagome Higurashi finds out that she is the reincarnation of the Priestess Kikyo.

She breaks the curse that sealed Inuyasha to the tree and ends up shattering The Jewel found in her body. Now Inuyasha and Kagome must venture out and gather all of the shards before Naraku or any other demon gets a hold of them.

They have traveling with them a young Fox Demon named Shippo, a lecherous and greedy Monk named Miroku, and a Demon Slayer and her Two-Tailed Cat named Sango and Kirara. Will they ever find all of the Jewel?
