At the very beginning of the episode, Steve and his older sister Hayley are fighting. She taunts him by saying "You think you'll hit puberty before you turn 14?". "Family Guy"'s Chris Griffin is also 13, which is just one of the many similarities between the two shows.

2. Who can Roger no longer take seriously as an actor anymore?

Answer: Lou Ferrigno

Roger the alien lives with the Smiths, and is quite similar to ALF: obnoxious, interested in pop culture, and forbidden to leave the house. He says that he can no longer take Lou Ferrigno seriously because he found out he was deaf after watching the "I Love the '80s" marathon. Maybe he saw ALF and Mork from Ork while watching the marathon!
