"Babylon 5" - T Trivia Quiz

Talia Winters was assigned by PsiCorps to Babylon 5 in 2258 after Lyta Alexander left the station. When she first joined the Corps, she was assigned a senior telepath named Abby who helped her for the first year. She was married to Matthew Stoner because they were 'genetically compatible' - he soon disappeared and re-appeared on the station looking to take Talia with him.

In her last episode, Lyta Alexander returns to let the crew know that someone has been working against them and had a 'separate' personality implanted.

When Lyta sent the password to Talia, the other personality took over and Talia was thrown off the station.

Answer: Takashima

Lieutenant Commander Laurel Takashima was transferred shortly after this episode took place. A native of Earth, Takashima worked Mars Colony Security before the Food Riots. When she saw that the system was corrupt, she stopped playing by the rules. However, once she met Sinclair, she promised him that she would adhere to the rules (and was later promoted because of this). Takashima also had 'hidden away' a stash of coffee in the hydroponics section.

At one point in the pilot, she offers to send a Narn ship a 'fruit basket' because they had to wait so long to go through security.

Answer: techno-mage

They first appear in "Geometry of Shadows" when Londo is trying to con a techno-mage into agreeing with Londo's views. They had swarmed on the station as a last-stop before they left known space before the coming of the storm (probably the Shadow War). Techno-mages are said to know the exact 14 words which will make a person fall in love forever and the seven words to say goodbye to a dying friend.

Sinclair used it to create his own chrysalis. Only three in existence, Delenn was given one during the first season so that she could be transformed. One was also used to scan Sinclair at the Battle of the Line (this is why they believe he had the soul of Valen - because he WAS Valen).

Answer: Turhan

Emperor Turhan had visited Babylon 5 in hopes of finally making peace with the Narn. On his way to a reception, he had a heart attack. After he was brought to medlab, he spoke to Londo and then died. When asked what the Emporer had said, Londo replied that Turhan had said "Take my people to the stars" meaning to take over Narn again.

However, Turhan had really said "You are both damned." After his death, Refa and his associates put the clinically-insane Cartagia on the throne, who Vir later assassinated.

Answer: Tuzanor

Although Yedor is the capital of Minbar, Tuzanor is where the Rangers were located and where the Interstellar Alliance headquarters would be built. Tuzanor is also the city where Ivanova, Vir, Franklin and Garibaldi would gather once they learned that Sheridan's death was imminent.

Timov was not the obvious choice because she did not do anything to make Londo happy, unlike Daggair and Mariel. I think the best quote Timov had was about not wanting to take part in the 'sexual olympics' with the other two wives. Why did Londo keep her and not the others? Because, he said, he always knew where he stood with her.

Talia was 'given' the gift of telekinesis by her friend (and former lover) Jason Ironheart. In a later episode, she is shown trying to move a penny. It moved a little bit before flying into the wall. Stoner also gave her the strength to try and block telepaths who were as strong as PsiCops.

Brother Theo was seen in a few episodes. In the first, he asks if he and his 12 fellow monnks would be able to take up residence on the station in exchange for doing odd jobs (like looking for one face among all of the security cameras). This order was determined to find out what each of the different races called their creator.

In a later episode, Brother Theo was seen having helped bring a Reverand and a Rabbi onto the station to give Captain Sheridan more information from home. Brother Theo was not happy when the asked to hold a prayer service in the chapel ("And the Rock Cried Out, No Hiding Place").

Answer: time stabilizer

Zathras brought these onto the White Star during "War Without End" to help protect the crew from the time shifts while they attempted to bring Babylon 4 back through time 1,000 years. When the White Star destroyed some ships sent by the Shadows to destroy the station, Sheridan's time stabilizer was hit, causing him to move through time to the future.

While in the future, he finds out that he married Delenn and that they have a son, David. This is the episode where we find out the majority of what happened to Londo. (However, there is a great trilogy of books written for those who want to know more - they are considered about 90% canon.)

Cynthia Torqueman kept asking everyone many questions and getting on everyone's nerves. While talking with Delenn, she made a nice interview go sour when she asked if Delenn had ever considered that there were some humans who hated her because of her half-human appearance. This was the first episode in which everyone on the station tried to figure out a way to kill a reporter.

Answer: Trigati

Commanded by Sineval during the Earth-Minbari War, the Trigati refused to comply with the order to surrender to the humans. Sineval committed suicide rather than surrender and his first officer, Kalain, took command and took the ship into exile. In 2259, the ship reappeared near Babylon 5 and Kalain went aboard the station where he later committed suicide.

When Sheridan figured out that the crew of the Trigati were trying to get the station to destroy the ship, he refused to fire. When a Minbari ship arrived to deal with the Trigati, it opended fire on the exiled ship and destroyed an engine.

The Trigati was then unable to jump into hyperspace and exploded because of the damage. ("Points of Departure")

It's in the Euphrates system, orbiting Epsilon 3/Euphrates in the Tigris sector.

Jeffrey Sinclair was a big fan of his "Ulysses." Sheridan still remembered the final verse: "We are not now that strength which in old days/ Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are,--/ One equal temper of heroic hearts,/ Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will/ To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield."

He met Adira Tyree on Babylon 5 while she was a slave to Trakis. After attempting to steal his purple files (files which could embarrass just about everyone who was anyone in Centauri society), Commander Sinclair ordered her released and she left Babylon 5 a free woman.

She later returned to the station to see Londo, but was killed by one of Refa's associates upon arrival. During the "Day of the Dead," Adira came back to visit with Londo.
