1. Who plays Prince Albert?

Answer: Jim Broadbent

Jim Broadbent also appears as Don Speekingleesh in 'The Blackadder', where he also plays opposite Miriam Margolyes. Tony Robinson plays Blackadder's friend Baldrick, Tim McInnerny plays Percy in the series, but doesn't appear in this special (but he appears in 'Back and Forth'), and Robert East plays Prince Harry, heir to the throne in the first series.

2. What is the Christmas tree actually?

Answer: A twig

Blackadder and Baldrick are too poor to afford anything bigger than a twig for their Christmas tree.

3. What will Tiny Tom turn into if he eats any more heartily?

Answer: A pie shop

Tiny Tom is the opposite of what he is in Dickens' novel, as shown by this quote.

This is another bit of hopeless maths from Baldrick, who could not grasp the concept of it in series 2, when he thought that two beans plus two beans makes a small casserole!

Millicent (played by Nicola Bryant) has the most horrid high-pitched laugh that I have ever heard!

Prince Albert has to cover his identity as he is undercover, trying to see if Blackadder is worthy of a gift of money. However Albert has a very heavy German accent, so it is obvious that he is lying.

7. What happened when Blackadder opened the cracker in Tudor times?

Answer: It squeaked

Blackadder is enraged that the painting that he has commissioned for Queen Elizabeth is not necessary, as she has banned Christmas, but after he has punched a hole in it she says that she was only joking!

8. What is Baldrick's mental agility (as quoted in Georgian times)?

Answer: The same as a rabbit dropping

This is just another of the long line of insults about Baldrick, and are some of the most funny lines of the entire show, in not just this special, but also the series.

The future is a very scary place to look at, and the ghost convinces Edmund to go from being nice or nasty with the visions that he conjures up.

Ralph, who was played by Ramsay Gilderdale has a very small role and is a very wet person, shown by his voice.
