This season began a trend where not all of the houseguests were total strangers which lasted until season ten.
4. Season five was dubbed "Project DNA" which the houseguests were told stood for "Do Not Assume". However, there were two houseguests who were brother and sister and they did not know it. Also, there was a pair of twins secretly switching in and out of the house. Under which name did these twins compete under?

Answer: Adria

Michael and Nakomis were long lost brother and sister. Michael never knew his father and determined from speaking to Nakomis that her father was actually his father as well. They became somewhat friendly but the siblings were frequently on opposite sides of the house and in different alliances. Michael evicted Nakomis at the final four; however, she did vote for him to win the game (which he did not).

The other big twist that season was the twin twist. For the first few weeks, twins Adria and Natalie played as Adria. Every so many days, they would switch places and if they survived the first five weeks, Natalie would enter the house under her own name. The twins were successful and everyone was shocked when Natalie walked in. This twist was reused in season seventeen with Liz and Julia. However, Liz and Julia's secret was learned early on but they did survive the first five weeks so both entered the house.
5. Season six is a fan favorite season known for the deep divisions between the house's two main alliances. One infamous battle occurred after Kaysar reentered the house after being evicted only to be immediately betrayed by which person who swore on her life she would not evict him?

After America voted Kaysar back into the house, the houseguests competed in an endurance Head of Household competition appropriately called "The Pressure Cooker". This was the longest endurance competition at the time. The final two players remaining where Jennifer and Kaysar. Jennifer had been in the opposing alliance as Kaysar but in order to end the challenge, Kaysar agreed to throw it to Jennifer in exchange for his own safety. Jennifer swore on her life she would not nominate Kaysar for eviction.

In a later incident, Dick accidently burnt Jen with a cigarette she tried to grab out of his hand.
7. Another infamous expulsion occurred in season eleven when Chima was expelled for what reason?

Answer: Destroying equipment

From Day One, Chima was in frequent trouble with the producers for not following directions, covering up cameras and other infractions. Although these were considered minor, the sheer number of them was of concern. After Chima's Head of Household reign was overthrown by Jeff and the coup d'état, Chima seemed to mentally check out of the game. She was then soon nominated for eviction by Michele. Chima refused to follow any orders and ignored requests from Big Brother to go to the Diary Room. She then took off her microphone and refused to put it back on. She refused requests from Big Brother to put the microphone back on and eventually threw it in the swimming pool, damaging it. Producer Allison Grodner took over the intercom system and Chima eventually entered the Diary Room and was expelled.

Chima's expulsion was controversial. Most viewers and houseguests felt she deserved to be expelled. The controversy came the next day when Michele's reign as Head of Household ended because one of her nominees exited the game. This was deemed unfair to Michele. Years later in season nineteen, a nominee quit and the Head of Household was forced to name a replacement instead of his having reign ended. This event brought back the controversy from season eleven.
8. Season twelve contestant Rachel was known for her many sayings. What word completes the following famous Rachel quote: "_________ you better grab a life vest."

Answer: Floaters

In "Big Brother", floaters are houseguests who swing between whichever alliance is in power so they do not find themselves nominated. In many seasons, floating is not seen as respectable game play as floaters often just skate by without doing anything or making tough decisions. Rachel, after winning a Head of Household position, infamously said "floaters, you better grab a life vest" indicating she would be targeting floaters, specifically Kristen.

Her quote is considered one of the most famous in "Big Brother" history and has been referenced many times since.
9. Dan Gheesling is widely considered to be one of the best players of all time. When he returned to compete in season fourteen, he infamously held what kind of event for himself in order to get himself vetoed?

Answer: Funeral

Dan's funeral is widely regarded as one of the best moves in the history of the show. Dan had won season ten and was seen as a huge threat again in season fourteen. Dan had reputation for playing dirty but also very strategically. He was targeted throughout season fourteen and found himself on the block against his ally Danielle.

He failed to win the veto, which was won by floater Jenn. Jenn was perceived as not having done anything all season and Dan took the opportunity to convince her to make a move and save him.

She agreed. In order to make it convincing to the rest of the house (as Jenn saving Dan would have been suspicious), Dan hosted his own funeral, where he declared the old Dan dead and ended his social game with Danielle. The moment was emotional and brilliant and all the houseguests fell for it but it was just a ploy for Dan to save both himself and his closest ally Danielle.
10. Season twenty-one was full of dramatic arguments and strategic moves. One of the most emotional moments in "Big Brother" history occurred at the final five. At a house meeting, Jackson accused Tommy of two-timing, lying and playing both sides. All of these were lies and Tommy emotionally tried to defend himself and was unsuccessful. Jackson concocted this scheme in an effort to save which houseguest?

Answer: Holly

Jackson, Holly, Cliff and Nicole had a final four deal. Jackson was Head of Household and nominated Tommy and Cliff for eviction. However, Nicole won the veto and saved her longtime ally Cliff, forcing Jackson to nominate Holly as the only other option. Jackson and Holly were in a relationship all season and Nicole began to feel threatened by this. She believed it was necessary to split up the couple instead of honoring their final four deal. Nicole and Cliff went back and forth on who to save between Holly and Tommy. When Jackson realized his allies were not set against Tommy, he concocted several lies in an attempt to save Holly. He accused Tommy of playing both sides and said Tommy had promised Jackson he would take out Cliff next, despite what Tommy had said. The argument heated up with all five players screaming and Tommy crying hysterically at being unable to defend himself against the allegations.

Ultimately, Nicole and Cliff honored their deal with Jackson and Holly and evicted Tommy. Nicole and Cliff said they actually did believe Tommy but felt he was a much bigger threat to win the game than Holly.
