In this special Christmas episode, Abed wakes to find himself in stop motion animation. He sees this as a time to find the real meaning of Christmas, taking everyone along for the ride.

Pierce enters this episode as the game is just beginning to find Neil in his chair. This enrages Pierce who insists on playing and taking Neil out. Neil eventually wins the game, saying it was his most enjoyable and asks Pierce to play again "next week".

In this bequeathing, all the group receive "gifts". Shirley receives a CD of all the group talking about Shirley. We later find out that no-one talks badly behind her back.
Britta (aka Sourface) receives a cheque for $10,000 to give to the charity of her choice or to herself. She gives the money to Red Cross.
Annie is next, but Jeff insists on being next. Jeff suggests that Pierce is subjecting everyone to psychological warfare.
Pierce tells Jeff his father is on his way to hospital to see his son. We later find out that it's just Pierce in a town car.
Annie receives a tiara because he's her favourite.
Troy gets to meet his idol LeVar Burton, the star of '70s TV show 'Rebop' and the TV miniseries 'Roots'. Troy becomes mute around LeVar and throughout the whole episode, doesn't say a word to his idol.
We don't see if Abed receives anything. He films the entire episode as a documentary for Pierce.

Abed's party is spoiled when he tells Jeff over dinner that he's done with pop culture. He refuses to leave the restaurant and go to the pre-arranged party. When Abed and Jeff finally get to the party, each of the group is dressed up as characters from 'Pulp Fiction'.
Eventually, we find out Abed was making his own movie "homage" to 'My Dinner With Andre' which is about a guy who has a pleasant dinner with a guy who's been avoiding him lately.

Shirley falls pregnant after the Halloween episode. Speculation arises as to who the father is. Shirley reconnects with her husband and it's speculated that Chang and Shirley got together on Halloween. Chang does everything in his power to prove that he will be a good father if the child is his. Once the child is born, it is clear that Andre, Shirley's husband is the father so Chang is off the hook.

The Dean doesn't want to make the mistake of having such a valuable prize "like last year's prize" of priority registration. He says that this year will be different and it will be a quick game. At the news of the large sum of cash to be awarded, the Dean throws his arms up in despair.

Pierce is commandeered to the Dean's office for trying to bribe one of the City College members with paintball bullets. He feigns a heart attack (again) and steals the City members uniform. After Shirley is eliminated, Pierce convenes with two other City members who are still in the race. Pierce shoots them both and claims victory.
