Answer: An Autobot mausoleum

In "Dark Awakening", Rodimus Prime, Ultra Magnus, Arcee, Kup, Spike and Daniel Witwicky are aboard a damaged starship attempting to flee from Galvatron's warship. After they launch the escape ship, they see a blip on their screen and go there to seek shelter.

The object was an Autobot mausoleum which entombed the bodies of Optimus Prime and other Autobots who had perished in the attack on Autobot City during "Transformers: The Movie".

Answer: Huffer

As Daniel walks by the Autobots' tombs he reads off the names of the fallen warriors. He calls out the names of Ironhide, Ratchet and Prowl who were killed in "Transformers: The Movie". Huffer's fate was not yet confirmed until this episode premiered.

Answer: Optimus Prime

When Galvatron arrives, the Autobots are forced to fall back into the mausoleum. Optimus Prime, who was thought to be dead, shows up and blasts Galvatron with his rifle shouting, "Decepticons, leave this place or die!" The Decepticons are forced to retreat.

Answer: "Forgive me"

An ecstatic Rodimus Prime returns the Matrix to Optimus Prime, despite the warnings of Ultra Magnus regarding Prime's condition. Optimus hesitates to take it at first, but Rodimus places it in his hands and becomes Hot Rod again. After receiving the Matrix, Optimus tells Hot Rod, "Forgive me." He then blasts Hot Rod and flees in an escape ship abandoning the Autobots on the mausoleum which has been set to self-destruct.

Answer: The Quintessons

The Quintessons reactivated Optimus Prime as a zombie. They reprogrammed him to lure the Autobots into a trap. Once Optimus returns to Cybertron he informs the Autobots of the death of Hot Rod, Kup, Ultra Magnus and Arcee. He orders all Autobots to immediately attack the Quintessons, who stand ready to destroy them all.

Answer: It plunges into a star

Kup grimly tells the Autobots to say their goodbyes as the remaining Autobot bodies would be soon be vaporized. After the Autobots manage to flee the doomed mausoleum, it crashes into a star and explodes.

Answer: Snarl and Sludge

When Hot Rod and his crew arrive at Cybertron they find only the Dinobots, Snarl and Sludge remaining. The two confused Dinobots inform Hot Rod that Optimus Prime took all the Autobots to attack the Quintessons.

Answer: "I'm going Optimus hunting!"

When Hot Rod and his crew arrive at Optimus Prime's command ship, he orders Springer to turn the fleet back to Cybertron and that he was going "Optimus hunting." Hot Rod bursts though the bridge door to confront Optimus.

Answer: The Matrix made him too strong

During the fight between Hot Rod and Optimus, Optimus is clearly getting the upper hand. When Hot Rod tries to sneak up on Prime and take his rifle, Optimus catches him and starts pounding on him. He tells Hot Rod the "Matrix makes me too strong." Hot Rod replies, "Now there is a unique complaint."

Answer: False

Optimus Prime defeats Hot Rod and moves in for the final shot. At the last minute, Optimus finally manages to free his mind from the Quintessons programming. He returns the Matrix to Hot Rod and orders all the Autobots to retreat. He remains on the ship and flies it towards the Quintesson trap sacrificing himself to save the Autobots.

The Quintessons open fire on the ship and it is destroyed in a stellar nova.
