Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Kendra ran into several obstacles throughout her stint on NBC's top rated show, "The Apprentice". Yet, she was still able to shine and become Donald's next apprentice. Her ability continued to grow, especially in the Pontiac brochure task, when she was working with two people who barely respected her. A competitor who she was constantly bickering with, who stated that she was nothing but a "whiner", was which of the following contestants?

Answer: Craig

Craig was a competitor up until the final three when his brilliant ideas were not apparent to those who were interviewing for Trump. Alex placed 4th after being fired in the last task as teams. He gave way to Tana, who went on to become runner up. Alex, who said he was happy to be fired, has reportedly set up several different business proposals. Craig was a great leader who was able to delegate, but when it came to explaining himself, he fell short and was ultimately fired away from the final two for that exact reason.
2. This year was advertised as the season of "Book Smarts vs. Street Smarts". Ultimately, someone with book smarts won but having education does not always mean you are ready for any challenge. One contestant gave way to the pressure of the show, and quit. Was Verna the contestant to leave the third season of "The Apprentice"?

Answer: Yes

Verna started as a confident player in the beginning of the game when she stood up to Trump at the first task and said, "I would be embarrassed if anyone kicked my butt." To that Trump replied, "Good, I like that answer." Yet, in the following weeks she seemed to have trouble getting used to the tough schedules and almost quit during the hotel renovation task.

The next day, she said she was too sick to work and Erin told her she should leave. So, Verna became the first one to leave "The Apprentice" voluntarily in the history of the show.
3. During the "mini-golf" task, Kendra demonstrated one of her many abilities... marketing. Although she was not the Project Manager for that particular task, she emerged quite quickly as a leader in all aspects of the role. For what place in New York, did Kendra negotiate a marketing deal?

Answer: Chelsea Piers

Tana returned to the Chelsea Piers for her final task, "New York 2012". However, Kendra stole that victory from her with her amazing delivery of the "XBOX Video Game Championship".
4. Kendra was the last contestant to take on the Project Management role.

Answer: False

Strategy or not, a later opportunity at the role was thrown back in her face in the final boardroom. Tana told Trump that Kendra was afraid of leadership. Kendra calmly announced that it was her strategy to let everyone else self-destruct, until she was ready to make her move. Craig was the last to become Project Manager.
5. Four contestants left: Tana, Craig, Kendra, and Alex. Holding a strong bond, Tana, Craig, and Kendra were working very well together despite Craig and Kendra's bickering. Alex, strategically chose Tana to place Kendra and Craig together hoping they would self destruct. Who was elected Project Manager of each team?

Answer: Tana and Kendra

This was Tana's first loss as PM, and aided her to stay in the game. It also helped that one of Tana's victories was over Alex. Trump announced that Alex had lost too much in the near past and chose to place Kendra, Craig, and Tana in an interview process with three high ranking executives. They all chose Kendra and Tana as their favorites, forcing Craig to be FIRED!
6. At the finale, Trump asked for input from his associates, George and Carolyn. What was George's suggestion on the hiring and firing?

Answer: To hire Tana

George believed Tana had the personal skills to run Trump's company, even though Kendra had more education and skills. Carolyn on the other hand wanted to hire Kendra, and she obviously got her wish.
7. Kendra was the first female winner, the two previous winners being Bill Rancic and Kelly Perdew. Aside from the block of buildings Kelly is working on, he is also working with Trump Ice.

Answer: True

Trump needed another spot to place Kelly, so he is assisting Trump in the launch and deliberation of Trump Ice.
8. Who was NOT brought back to help the final two in the finale?

Answer: Angie

Trump brought back the most difficult contestants to see how the employers would deal with it. Evidently, Kendra did a better job with her group. She even started crying tears of joy in the boardroom when she talked about her team. Oh brother!
9. The finale was drawn out, so that Trump could hold it in the venue he wanted. Which venue did that turn out to be?

Answer: New York University's Skirball Center

This season lasted three weeks with the final two, instead of the usual two part finale in previous seasons. This was done to be in the preferred convention centre.
10. At the end of the season, two job postings are shown to the final two candidates. Which did Kendra chose when she became the first female "Apprentice"?

Answer: Home renovation project in Palm Beach

Offering two women the Miss Universe pageant sparked controversy on the internet message board. Some boasted that Trump would never have offered two men that option, plus he would have offered them a better job that a mansion renovation. Seriously, would Bill Rancic have been offered the Miss Universe pageant? I highly doubt it.
