Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Hale and Pace are actually?

Answer: Gareth Hale and Norman Pace

They of course played the characters the '2 Rons'.
2. Cannon and Ball had their ups and downs. Their first names?

Answer: Tommy Cannon and Bobby Ball

Much better as a stand up act. They started off as welders.
3. Lennie Bennett had a partner. Who was it?

Answer: Jerry Stevens

Whatever happened to Jerry? I know Lennie had a heart attack.
4. The brothers Mike and __ Winters. Who's missing?

Answer: Bernie

Michael and Bernard Weinstein. Before Bernie took up with Schnorbitz the St Bernard.
5. 'The Two Ronnies' were?

Answer: Barker and Corbett

The Kray's were Ronnie and Reggie. They also were not TV comedians. Tommy Cooper was the funniest solo act I've ever seen.
6. The best of the bunch, Morecambe and Wise. Eric and Ernie. Who had the 'short, fat, hairy legs'?

Answer: Ern

A tragedy that Eric died when he did. Christmas was never the same without their 'Special'.
7. Little and Large made the rounds. Who was who?

Answer: Syd Little and Eddie Large

Cyanide Syd. Eddie was a good impressionist. Kind of lost their way in later years.
8. French and Saunders make the list. What are their first names?

Answer: Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders

Both came from RAF families and intended to be drama teachers.
9. Les Dennis became known as part of a double act. Who was his partner?

Answer: Dustin Gee

Dustin was by far the better impressionist. His Robert Mitchum was incredible.
10. Julie Walters hasn't always been a movie star. Who was her partner?

Answer: Victoria Wood

Victoria is probably better known now for her one woman show.
