Charles couldn't stand the Korean POW's playing music badly so he took it upon himself to teach them. After the 4077th bugged out the POW's were transferred with Charles protesting to keep the POW's musicians. Back at the original location of the camp a truck full of wounded POW's were returned to the 4077th for treatment. Only one of the musician survived the trip to the camp and died seconds after coming back. To Charles music would remind him of the deaths of the musicians.

They were having a problem saying goodbye after peace was declared. Hawkeye got into the chopper and BJ yelled to him, "I'll see you back in the States! I promise! BJ got orders to go home with Potter's authorization to so long as he got a replacement. Sometime later BJ and Klinger were negotiating his mode of transportation home when he told Potter he had a ride home then and there and his replacement was coming tomorrow. BJ said goodbye to Margaret, Mulcahy, Klinger and Charles then got in the chopper. Klinger told Potter that BJ's travel orders were rescinded but Potter said after the chopper took off he didn't hear what he said.

In reality there was a fire heading for the Paramount Ranch so the show had to move anyway. In 2019 the Paramount Ranch was caught in a fire destroying the "Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman" set plus what was left of the "MASH" set.

An irate Charles got her thinking to find her own job in her own way with no one's help.
