Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. My name is Kenneth Henderson and I died a hero. A rather sectioned hero, trying to aid people in an elevator. Who was called upon to arrange my burial?

Answer: Ex-wife

Scott Burkholder plays the poor man cut in half by the malfunctioning elevator. He was able to climb completely out of the thing, but tried to help the pregnant lady out as well. I have always heard that an elevator will not move up or down while the doors are open, but time and again see the 'cut in pieces by an elevator' theme used. "Final Destination 2" and "Resident Evil" are just two movies I can name right off.

Bruno Baskerville Walsh is the first person's death shown in season four, but he actually died in the 1970s. In episode one, "Falling Into Place", Bruno is seen leaping to his death back in the psychedelic decade. Lisa's mother did not want her daughter's last wish granted, she wanted Lisa to be cremated and placed in the family mausoleum. So, Nate took Bruno's long unclaimed ashes and gave them to Lisa's family. Then he took her un-embalmed remains and buried them illegally near a tree in the mountains. Jonathan Tucker played Bruno. Tucker can also be seen in the 2003 remake of "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre".
2. I came to Nate in a dream. My husband seemed very much at peace with my passing. A sign from God was the inadvertent cause of my death, as I ran into oncoming traffic.

Answer: Dorothy Sheedy

Beth Grant played Mrs. Sheedy. Beth can also be seen in "Pearl Harbor", "Donnie Darko", and "Matchstick Men".
3. I had a smile that would not relax, so Rico had to use the 'Full McQue' on me. Who knew laughter could kill? I didn't, nor did my two friends with me when I died.

Answer: Kaitlin Elise Stolte

Kaitlin and her girlfriends were prank calling. One of the girls called a lady and said that her husband left his underwear at her house. Kaitlin laughed so hard she fell off the bed and broke her neck. Hallee Hirsh (Kaitlin) also played Rachel Green, daughter of Dr. Mark Greene, on "ER". She took over the role of Rachel from Yvonne Zima in 2001.
4. I had a connection to the Fisher family before I died. After my death, which was nothing short of electric, my daughter called David and asked that Fisher and Diaz handle the funeral. I am Lawrence Henry _________.

Answer: Mason

Mr. Mason was the father of David's former fiancee Jennifer. He was struck by lightening while walking under an umbrella in the rain. Thomas Kopache played Lawrence Mason. He can also be seen in these movies "A Man Apart", "Catch Me if You Can", "Stigmata", and "Leaving Las Vegas".
5. My name is Anne Marie Thornton. I died on my wedding anniversary, and I was only 38 years old. Where did I die?

Answer: Shower

Poor Anne Marie! She and her husband had just finished making love in their hot tub. She went in to take a shower and fell. Her husband was devastated and did not understand why he was punished for being a good husband. Rico offered him some soothing words. Elise Robertson played Mrs. Thornton.
6. My full name is Robert Carl Meinhardt. I was murdered after two people robbed my home. As it was happening, my wife was leaving me a message on our answering machine. Later, my wife mentions our religion to David Fisher. What was it?

Answer: None of these

The wife bitterly explains to David that they are atheists, and if she wasn't before this- she would definitely be now. An atheist denies the belief in God or any higher power.
7. I died because I was in denial. I had the symptoms. Indigestion, vomiting, bloody stool, and a swollen abdomen. I had tumors in my stomach that metastasized and spread. I waited too long to see my doctor. My name is Joan Morrison. Who was my husband?

Answer: Ed

Joan Morrison was played by Lauri Johnson. She guest starred in "ER", "Angel", "Charmed", and "The King of Queens". Ed was played by Jack Lindine, who guest starred on "Chips", "Newhart", "Cheers", "NYPD Blue", and "Dark Skies". He was also in the movies "Thelma and Louise" and "Jack Frost".
8. My name is James and I knew when I was ready to die, down to the last minute. I'd already created my pre-need with Fisher and Sons (now Fisher and Diaz), and arranged the service. My family spoke fondly of my ability to control all aspects of my life, and now my death. Which cast member found me after I'd died?

Answer: Nate

Lee Weaver played James Dubois Marshall. When James knew his time was at hand, he drove himself over to the funeral home and left his pre-need contract on the dash of his car. He expired right away and was discovered by Nate a few moments later, as Nate was returning from a morning run.
9. My name is Lawrence Tuttle and my death was accidental. I was on the phone trying to scrounge up some rent money by selling some of my prized possessions. You could say I experienced "death by comic book". Which comic was it?

Answer: Blue Twister

It was "Blue Twister", 1941, issue #1 to be precise. Norbert is on the phone with Lawrence and explains that issue is worth $3000. Lawrence says he'll never sell it and infact wants to be buried with. As he is reaching for it atop a shelf, the entire rack of shelves falls on him and he is killed.
10. I was the drunk whose wife Suzanne was seen kicking me in the parking lot. I have 3 daughters and my name is Robert Wething. What social event was the scene of my demise?

Answer: Wedding

Suzanne and Robert were at their friend Jen's wedding and Robert died of alcohol poisoning. Robert was born in 1958, making him 45 or 46 at the time of his death.
11. In episode 11, "The Bomb Shelter", my family and I are killed in a car accident. I was too busy trying to use my navigation system to pay attention to the road and we were hit in the side of our SUV by a yellow box truck. My name is ____ _____ Gorodetsky.

Answer: Edward Gordon

Tom Virtue played Edward Gorodetsky (1956-2004). Tom has had many small TV appearances since 1990. Some of those are: "Newhart" (1990), "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" (1991), "Star Trek Voyager" (1995), "Beverly Hills, 90120" (1997 and 2000), and "Nip/Tuck" (2003).
12. I am ___ Grimes Gorodetsky, and I was talking on my hands free cellphone when the accident happened in episode 11. I was also discussing my son's choice of video games.

Answer: Coco

Christine Mourad is the cell phone using multi-tasker, Coco Gorodetsky (1962-2004). I did not find much information on her, but she did have a small role in a 2002 episode of "The Gilmore Girls" (season two).
13. I am Amanda ___ Gorodetsky, and I was watching "The Power Puff Girls" on the TV screen in between the front seats of our truck. I couldn't really hear over all the talking and video game noise, but I did see that yellow truck hit us!

Answer: Lynn

Amanda was the youngest at age 9, but she did not play much of a role in the commotion inside the SUV. She just took the punch of the impact, as her side was hit first.
14. My name is Micheal, and I was playing the video game ___ ___ on my side of the SUV's back seats. My mom asked me if the game was violent. I lied and said it was not a violent game.

Answer: Mortal Combat

Michael was 12, or close to it. His death date read 1992-2004. He was steadily playing away on the video game while the action took place all around him.
15. I died last in this season. I killed myself after revealing a shocking truth. I have my daughter to thank for bringing it to light.

Answer: Hoyt

Jeff Yagher got his TV start in the spin off series "V". He played Kyle, the rebel son of Nathan Bates. In the season finale of "Six Feet Under" Hoyt reveals to Nate that he had an affair with Lisa before she married Nate, but during his marriage to her sister Barb.

He was with Lisa the day she disappeared, but would never admit to harming her. Barb over heard this confession and when Hoyt sees her standing behind Nate, he pulls a pistol out of his desk drawer and kills himself. It was a picture Hoyt had taken of Lisa on that day at the beach that triggered Nate to explore further.

It was inside a book called "Stiff" that Hoyt's daughter Michaela had given to Nate to pass on to David. Michaela wanted the truth to come out, though it isn't clear how she knows, as she placed the picture in the book AND pressed Nate to read the book himself.
