Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Episode #21 "Born to Walk": After Al loses his driver's license, he asks Peggy and Kelly to take him to the racetrack so he can bet on a horse called Dr. Footwear. Does Dr. Footwear win his race?

Answer: Yes

Al accidentally lets his driver's license expire and fails the test on the same day Kelly passes hers. Al is left unable to drive and asks Peggy or Kelly for one of them to take him to the racetrack so he can bet on a horse named Dr. Footwear. Neither Peggy or Kelly remember to take Al. Thus, Al cannot bet on the horse. Steve, however, does make a surprise bet on Dr. Footwear and wins because the horse that originally wins is disqualified.
2. Episode #22 "Alley of the Dolls": What is the punishment Peggy and her rival Mimi bet the loser of the bowling competition has to do?

Answer: Dress up as a human trophy

Peggy runs into one of her old rivals, Mimi, at the bowling alley. The two always bet on things when they were in high school and Peggy usually lost. However, Al is a bowling expert and Peggy feels confident her family can beat Mimi's at bowling. They bet that the loser has to dress up as a giant trophy (in this case a bowling pin) and take pictures with everyone in the alley.
3. Episode #23 "The Razor's Edge": Which character refuses to shave in this episode?

Answer: Steve

When Steve comes back from his river rafting trip with a beard, Marcy asks him to shave. However, Steve decides to keep the beard which angers Marcy. She refuses to make love to him until he shaves. This leads Steve to move in with the Bundys. Al tries to convince Steve (who is growing tired of the beard) not to shave because Steve cooks for the Bundys. Meanwhile, Peggy is desperate to get Steve out of the house and works Marcy to toy with Steve's emotions to get him to shave.
4. Episode #24 "How Do You Spell Revenge?": In this episode, Kelly is dating the son of a man Peggy once dated. What thing do this father-son duo both do?

Answer: Get tattoos

In this episode, Kelly is dating a boy named Brian who wants her to get his name tattooed on her and vice versa. Kelly tries to keep this a secret from her parents but Bud rats her out. Meanwhile, Peggy tells a story about how a boy she once dated named Jimmy got her name tattooed on him but she chickened out. Jimmy was forced to marry a fat woman because her named was also Peggy.

It turns out Jimmy and Brian are father and son. Brian gets Kelly's name tattooed on him but Kelly dumps him before she gets his name on her. Kelly then says she can always set him up with the other girl named Kelly at school, who just happens to be fat.
5. Episode #25 "Earth Angel": In this episode, Bud brings home a young lady named Tiffany he met in the park. Tiffany is very attractive and everyone loves her except Marcy. What does Tiffany aspire to be?

Answer: An artist

Bud comes across an attractive young lady named Tiffany in the park and brings her home. Tiffany is gorgeous and attracts every man in the neighborhood. Tiffany is in Chicago on her way to New York to study art.

All the men in town go to the Bundys' house to look at Tiffany before making love to their wives. Thus, Tiffany is loved by both the men and women in the neighborhood. The exception is Marcy because Steve is an art lover and frequently discusses the subject with Tiffany.
6. Episode #26 "You Better Watch Out": In this classic Christmas episode, a mall Santa Claus dies in the Bundy's backyard. How does Santa die?

Answer: His parachute doesn't open

This is the very first Bundy Christmas Special and is considered a classic from the series. It came with a warning that the episode might not be suitable for children given the death of a mall Santa Claus.

The Lakeside Mall, a rival mall to the one Al works in, holds a publicity stunt where a mall Santa will jump out of a plane and distribute gift certificates. However, the Santa's parachute does not open and he winds up landing and dying in the Bundys' backyard. This has a profound effect on Marcy but the Bundys are unfazed. The police, however, cannot remove the dead Santa from the backyard because the neighborhood kids are waiting outside to see Santa.
7. Episode #27 "Guys and Dolls": What does Steve buy with the money he makes from selling Marcy's Barbie Doll?

Answer: Baseball cards

Al and Steve decide that Bud will take up collecting baseball cards as a hobby, but they wind up doing all the collecting themselves. In order to secure a rare card, Steve sells a classic Barbie that Marcy intends to give to her daughter one day. Steve is then forced to track down the Barbie doll when Marcy wants it back.
8. Episode #28 "Build a Better Mousetrap": When a mouse invades the Bundys' basement, who ultimately catches it?

Answer: The exterminator

Al and Steve nearly destroy the entire Bundy house when a mouse is discovered in the basement. Despite repeated calls from Peggy to hire an exterminator, Al insists he can catch it himself. However, he fails to do so and Peggy calls an exterminator who captures the mouse within seconds.
9. Episode #29 "Master the Possibilities": Which member of the Bundy family receives a credit card in this episode?

Answer: Buck

Al is repeatedly denied approval for several credit cards. However, Buck the dog is somehow issued one. Marcy previously told Al that if something arrives in the mail he did not order, he can keep it for free. He applies this knowledge to Buck's credit card and starts buying lavishly expensive gifts.

He and Peggy stay at a fancy hotel for a romantic night. Meanwhile, Steve is curious as to where Al is getting all this fancy stuff he can't afford.
10. Episode #30 "Peggy Loves Al, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah": What is the name of Bud's Valentine's Day date?

Answer: April May June

Bud is forced to spend another lonely Valentine's Day withouta date. Meanwhile, Kelly has hundreds of potential suitors. She finds a valentine in her bag that is actually meant for Bud. The valentine is from a girl named April May June but Bud thinks it is just Kelly playing a practical joke on him.

He must decide whether or not to wait for the girl to show up or go to a basketball game with his friends.
