Zoe Perry's first role on television was as a younger version of her mother's character, Jackie Harris, on "Roseanne". Zoe has also starred with her father Jeff Perry on his TV series, "Scandal". Laurie Metcalf won three Primetime Emmy Awards for playing Jackie Harris on "Roseanne" in '92, '93, '94. Zoe and Laurie also play a younger and older version of Mary Cooper from "The Big Bang Theory" and "Young Sheldon".

When asked if he liked the reboot of "MacGyver" or wanted to be involved in the cast, Richard Dean Anderson said he didn't care for the way the show was handled since the reboot had more violence in it than the original. Lucas Till's first starring role in a TV series was the 2016 reboot of "MacGyver". He was previously in three of the "X-Men" movies as Havok.

Arica was at Joe's Crab Shack when her father received the call that Arica had gotten the role of Rainbow Johnson in the prequel series "Mixed-ish". Tracee Ellis Ross played the adult version of Rainbow Johnson. "Black-ish" was Tracee's fourth TV series.

Jay was five years older than Tom Selleck when Tom began working on "Magnum, P.I.". When the show began filming, Tom threatened to leave the series and join "Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark" if the CBS show "Magnum, P.I." wasn't done the way he wanted with a carefree, laid-back character instead of an intense, womanizing character.
