Gillian had legal troubles herself as she was facing deportation back to Hungary. She came up with an idea to get married to Scott Chandler so she would become a U.S. citizen and thus not be deported. Scott reluctantly went along with her idea. On the wedding day, Ryan interrupted the wedding and managed to convince Gillian to exchange vows with him.

Leo served as Best Man as he watched Ryan and Gillian tie the knot for the second time.
