This is not the only occasion the letters change there! In case you're interested, it occurs approximately 6 minutes and 30 seconds into this episode, where Officer Barbrady is being taught how to read (not very successfully) by Mr. Garrison: Stan, when asked if the children learned to read this way, replies, 'We just fake it to shut him up'! Classic episode indeed.

2. When Officer Barbrady sees a stop sign before he learns to read, he imagines it turning into another language. Which one?

Answer: Korean

Presumably, they think this is an example of something incomprehensible. (However, why would he be looking at it if he can't read?)

I had to check this in the dictionary-naturally!

It is written on her gravestone in episode 312, 'Korn's Groovy Ghost Mystery'.

'Litoral' and 'Conscientious' were given to the home-schooled kids, and we know that Stan entered because he is sitting between Kyle and Cartman at the start-but his entry is not shown, though we know that he didn't win because Kyle is the only public school kid left by the end.
