Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. From the Galley Grub menu in "Mermaidman and Barnacleboy V", which of the following prices is NOT correct?

Answer: Salty Sea Dog - $1.50

What's interesting, however, is that a Kelp Shake is on the menu. "Best Frenemies" aired years later. In "Best Frenemies", a Kelp Shake store opens up across the street. Mr. Krabs and Plankton conspire with convoluted plans to steal the formula of the beverage. The beverage winds up being 99% Kelp Juice. The other ingredient winds up covering all who drank the drink with green fur.
2. In "The Slumber Party", what does Mr. Krabs fear entering his house far more than zombies?

Answer: teenager

Pearl is throwing a slumber party. Mr. Krabs knows that if teenagers get in, they will destroy his house and possessions. He does end up permitting Pearl to throw the party. However, he sets out a huge list of rules. The biggest one of them all was: "No boys allowed." When Mr. Krabs sends SpongeBob to check up on Pearl and the party, it is SpongeBob who winds up destroying his house.
3. From "Sing a Song of Patrick", what radio station do SpongeBob and Patrick bring the song to?

Answer: K-BLUB

"K-ELP" I made up and "K-OLD" is the station Mr. Krabs had on in "Mid-Life Crustacean". The song, "You're Old", played and depresses Mr. Krabs. "K-RUD" is from "No Free Rides". SpongeBob pretends to be a radio in his car. He then says the station plays all your favorite, "...you won't get away with stealing my car hits!" "K-BLUB" is the station that they bring Patrick's song to in "Sing a Song of Patrick." The station tosses them out immediately.

They then climb to the top of the radio station and Patrick sticks the record on to the top of the tower with gum.

The old fish is the only one who likes it. Everyone else wishes to cause physical harm to SpongeBob and Patrick. The song is entitled, "I Wrote This", by Patrick Star.
4. In "Breath of Fresh Squidward", how many photographs were seen in the episode?

Answer: ten

Three pictures were seen in the album that SpongeBob and Patrick showed Squidward at the start of the episode. These episodes included SpongeBob and Patrick in Squidward's room on the 4th of July and Easter. Seven more pictures were taken in a photo booth with SpongeBob, Patrick, and Squidward.
5. In "Krusty Krushers", the green wrestler turns SpongeBob and Patrick into a human paddleball! When he does this, how many times does he slam SpongeBob into Patrick?

Answer: Fifteen

When the paddleball thing occurs, SpongeBob giggles and says, "That tickles". Mr. Krabs has SpongeBob and Patrick wrestle as a tag team so that he can win the million dollar prize. He calls the team the "Krusty Krushers". He nicknames SpongeBob and Patrick Short Order Boy and the Pink Patty, respectively.

The two giant wrestlers they face can't help but chortle. The whip Sponge and Pat throughout the entire show. However, at the end, after the giant wrestlers put the duo to sleep, Patrick defeats them with his iron butt. Mr. Krabs has the million dollars, but SpongeBob and Patrick wind up trading the cash prize in for a week at Wrestle Camp. Once again, poor Mr. Krabs.
6. From "The Card", who is the bank teller SpongeBob encounters early in the episode?

Answer: Quincy

SpongeBob annoys Quincy. He wants a perfect dollar from him. He thinks the money he will use to buy Mermaidman and Barnacleboy trading cards will go directly to Mermaidman.
7. In "The Card", which of the following is not a card from the original pack SpongeBob bought?

Answer: Mermaidman's flying slippers from episode 87

SpongeBob learns from the geeky clerk at "Near Mint Comic Books" that the cards from his original pack are worthless. He goes searching for the valuable card #54. Patrick buys it. He also winds up destroying it by nightfall, but SpongeBob winds up still getting four card #54s. The pack Patrick bought was filled with them.
8. In "Boat Smarts", who sponsored the video?

Answer: Citizens Of Bikini Bottom United To Keep SpongeBob SquarePants Off The Road And Out Of Boats All Together

"Citizens Of Bikini Bottom United To Keep SpongeBob SquarePants Off The Road And Out Of Boats All Together", or "COBBUTKSBSPOTRAOOBAT" (try pronouncing that acronym, they did it on the show) sponsored the video. More trivia: Mrs. Puff's chalkboard read: "A good driver is a smart driver." The topics covered in the video were: "Tire pressure", "Buckling up", "Adjusting your mirrors", and "Pay attention to your surroundings". Squidward got badly hurt during all of them on behalf of Mr. SquarePants.
9. In "Breath of Fresh Squidward", which of the following does SpongeBob not call the "new Squidward"?

Answer: amiable

SpongeBob says about new Squidward: "The new Squidward sure is friendly. The new Squidward sure is helpful. The new Squidward sure is hygienic. The new Squidward sure is chummy." He calls him hygienic when he helps him brush his teeth. He calls him chummy when he walks to work awkwardly close to SpongeBob.
10. Which of the following did not happen in "Sand Castles in the Sand"?

Answer: Patrick gets sand in the sandwich of the girl Scooter was with

This episode, in a way, seems to be a remake of "The Snowball Effect". It begins where SpongeBob and Patrick plan to spend the whole day at the beach together. They get on the bus. SpongeBob and Patrick are so annoying that they get thrown off the bus.

It turns out they made it to the beach. They start building sand castles and warring. Improbable things transpire, such Patrick building a sand cannon that is actually destructive. SpongeBob and Patrick build huge, real-sized sand castles. SpongeBob builds a huge sand bomber plane. Patrick does get sand in a fish's sandwich; it is not the sandwich of the girl Scooter was with, however.

This is the first time Scooter was seen with a girl. Scooter's voice is also totally different than it once was.
11. How many Krabby Patties did SpongeBob accidentally fling down Squidward's throat in "Your Shoe's Untied"?

Answer: Eighteen

SpongeBob couldn't tie his shoes. He kept tripping on his laces and flinging his prepared patties down Squidward's throat. This caused him to become super fat. He was humongous temporarily, of course, by the magic of cartoons.
12. "Patchy was here" was written on a dumpster in which episode?

Answer: "Sailor Mouth"

The wonderful episode "Shell of a Man" was the only episode of the four choices not to have a dumpster. SpongeBob read from the dumpster "Sailor Mouth". However, there were three legible things on the dumpster that he did not read aloud. These include: "Dogfish love catfish", "Patchy was here", and "Starfish rool". This is the only episode where Patchy's name appeared but he didn't.
13. This episode mainly takes place in the Adult Learning Center. To which episode am I referring?

Answer: Artist Unknown

The Adult Learning Center is a recreation center. This doesn't exactly give Squidward bragging rights that he has taken a second job teaching. Monty P. Moneybags makes his first and only appearance as of yet. Squidward does not teach a class again until the episode "Professor Squidward".
14. In most episodes that show currency, clams are printed on money. Mr. Krabs revealed once that these clams were what?

Answer: Presidents

In almost all episodes, clams appeared on the money. However, in "Money Talks", fish appear on the bills instead. Since Mr. Krabs conversed with money throughout the course of the episode, it was logical for the money not to have clams printed on it.

At the end of "Penny Foolish", SpongeBob finds a $500.00 bill. It had an old fish with a beard on it. Since it said "Fraudual Reserve" on the bill, it might have been a fake anyway.
15. In what episode do we see talking toilet paper for the first time?

Answer: Choir Boys

"Choir Boys" is the only such episode. When Squidward's talking toilet laments that Squidward didn't use him that morning, the talking toilet papers tells him not to feel bad because he hasn't been using him either. While "Choir Boys" is the first episode to feature talking toilet paper, it is not the first episode to showcase a talking toilet.

In "House Fancy", Patrick defecates in Squidward's toilet. Patrick advises all present not to go in there for quite some time. The toilet bursts out of the bathroom and begs Squidward to put it out of its misery and to have mercy on its soul.
