Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What is the name of the women's pub?

Answer: Mayhew

After the first series, the Mayhew pub was dropped from the show with the Archer becoming the main drinking hole for both the male and female characters. The name of the two pubs is thought to be a reference to the shows script editor Paul Mayhew-Archer.
2. Donna has two younger siblings, but what are their names?

Answer: Dion and Katie

Katie appeared in the series one episode 'Spunk' and was played by actress Victoria Connett while Dion was played by Robert Hartley and appeared in the series 6 episode 'Closing Time'. Neither character appeared during the funeral of their mother Flo nor was this absence ever mentioned on the show.
3. What is Louise's middle name?

Answer: Susannah

Louise states her middle name in the series three episode 'Kangaroo'. This occurs during the scene where she is telling her new boyfriend David that she will be nice, pleasant and mature to the best of her abilities in all dealings with him as long as he is willing to give her another chance - he had broken up with her due to her playing games with him.

Louise is a childish person who is naive, selfish and insecure. She is desperate to find her perfect man and fears becoming old. In the seventh series, Louise is pregnant with a child which may have been fathered by Donna's younger brother. After finding out that she was expecting a girl Louise was fearful that her daughter would be prettier than she was. Louise was adopted, which she discovers in the sixth series. She also speaks in a high pitched squeaky voice.

The character of Louise has been played by Kathryn Drysdale for the entire run of the show. Kathryn originally auditioned for the role of Donna in the show. However, in the shows unaired and unfilmed pilot, it was performed in front of an audience of executive, the role was played by actress Lucy Punch.
4. What two subjects does Janet have GCSEs in?

Answer: Home Economics and P.E

Janet is the wife of Jonny and mother of Corinthian. She had a one night stand with Gaz prior to the birth of her son which means that she does not know who the father is, although it is presumed to be Jonny due to Gaz having a low sperm count.

Janet worked in a bakery at the start of the series until she beat Donna to get the job of Manager at the pub. She then held this job until the pub was closed down by health and safert inspectors.

Janet is played by Sheridan Smith, who has held the role since episode one of the series. In the unaired and unfilmed pilot, the role was performed by Clare Buckfield.
5. What are the names of Gaz's three siblings?

Answer: Julie, Tasha and Munch

As of series seven Munch is the only one of Gaz's siblings to appear on the show although Julie and Tasha have been mentioned on numerous occasions. Munch, is played by Lee Oakes, made his first appearance in series 3 before leaving in series 5. He then returned to the show during the seventh series.

Munch loves the drink Vimto and claims that he has 'munch magic'.
6. What does Gaz have a phobia of?

Answer: Sheep

Because of his phobia before he goes to bed, Gaz sings the song 'Bringing in the Sheep'.

Gaz is a mechanic at an auto shop which was originally owned by his father before he sold it to Donna. Gaz supports the football team Manchester City FC as well as being a fan of the television shows 'Monarch of The Glen' and 'Hollyoaks'.

Gaz is played by Will Mellor. As well as playing the role since the first episode, Will was also in the pilot piece.
7. What is the full name of Janet's son who is born in series 5?

Answer: Corinthian McVitie Keogh

Baby Corinthian was born in the episode 'Who's The Daddy,' which is the tenth in series 5. His full name is normally given as Corinthian McVitie Keogh. However, Louise, when going through a stage where she believes herself to be god, christens the baby as Corinthian McVitie Louise Keogh.

Since his on-screen birth, Corinthian has been played by seven infants. The first was Lewis Vilamor who played the role from the birth of the character until the end of the fifth series - a total of five episodes although one of these appearances was uncredited.

In the sixth series the role was taken over by twins Jamie and Zoe Ryde-Weller. Jamie was only ever credited in one episode while Zoe was credited in three. There was also one uncredited appearance during that series.

In the seventh series the role was shared by two sets of twins. Alfie and Harvie Walters played the role from the second episode of the seventh series until the fifth episode before the role was taken over by Thea and Sophia Perry who appeared in the role from the sixth episode until the final one of the series. Corinthian did appear briefly in the live episode at the start of series 7 but the role was uncredited, so it is unknown which set if twins played him.
8. What name does Louise chose for her daughter?

Answer: Louise Louise Brooks

Louise Louise Brooks is born in the final episode of the seventh series 'Borry'. Her father is supposedly Donna's younger brother Dion. The baby was born in the Archer pub with Munch assisting. Louise told him that the baby would be named Louise Munch Brooks however, after Munch left she told the baby that her real name was to be Louise Louise.

Unlike Corinthian, the role of newborn Louise Louise was not credited.
9. During the live episode, what song is sung by Donna?

Answer: Chick Chick Chicken

Natalie Casey, who plays the role of Donna, actually released the song when she was three years old. It reached number 72 in the UK singles chart as well as making her the youngest person to have a recording enter this chart. Natalie has previously appeared in 'Hollyoaks' alongside Will Mellor, who plays her love interest Gaz on the show. In the unaired and unfilmed pilot, the role of Donna was played by Maxine Peake.

Donna is the daughter of Flo, a character who died at some point between the fourth and fifth series of the show. Donna and Gaz were a couple throughout most of the shows run however, they split up after Donna discovered that Gaz had a one night stand with Janet. They did get back together and eventually married although by the end of the seventh series Donna was leaving for London without Gaz, who had since fallen for Janet after discovering that Corinthian was in fact his son.
10. What was the theme Tim decided on for the Archer?

Answer: John Barrowman

The only evidence of this theme is a single framed photograph which the character produces during the live episode. In series 7, Tim is the bar manager of the Archer. The character appears to be portrayed as gay, however he maintains that he is married to a rugby-playing woman named Helena.

Luke Gell, who plays Tim Claypole, joined the cast in the seventh series, presumably as a replacement for Ralf Little, who played Johnny on the show. 'Two Pints' is Luke's first major role.
