Lee J. Cobb played Judge Henry Garth in the TV series "The Virginian" which ran for 249 episodes from 1962 to 1971. He was born Leo Jacoby in the Bronx, New York, New York, USA, in 1911. He made his movie debut in "The Vanishing Shadow" (1934), as an uncredited roadwork foreman. On Broadway in 1949, he played Willy Loman in the original production of Arthur Miller's play "Death of a Salesman".

He played Judge Henry Garth, owner of the Shiloh Ranch in Medicine Bow, Wyoming, in the first four seasons of the TV series "The Virginian" (1962-1966). It also starred James Drury as the Virginian and Doug McClure as Trampas. He will perhaps be remembered most for his performance in "On The Waterfront" with Marlon Brando in 1954 and juror number three in "12 Angry Men" with Henry Fonda in 1957. Lee J. Cobb died of a heart attack in Woodland Hills, California, USA, in 1976 aged 64.
4. Milburn Drysdale in the TV series "The Beverley Hillbillies"

He retired in 1975 but kept in touch with Nancy Culp who played Miss Hathaway, his secretary in "The Beverly Hillbillies". He died of a heart attack in Irvine, California, USA, in 1980, aged 75.
5. Edith Bunker in the TV series "All In The Family"

Edith Bunker was played by Jean Stapleton in the TV series "All In The Family", which ran for 205 episodes and four specials from 1971 to 1979. She was born Jeanne Murray in Manhattan, New York, New York, USA, in 1923.
