Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. How is lagoon owner Roger described in the title of the fourth world of the game?

Answer: Jolly

At first glance, Jolly Roger's Lagoon is a rather small world, with an inn, a pawn shop, Mumbo's Skull and the titular lagoon. However, once Mumbo has worked his magic and oxygenated the water in the lagoon, you'll be able to dive down into the depths and discover the lost city of Atlantis. Here, a whole host of Jiggies and other goodies can be obtained as you explore the ruins.
2. Where would you come across a character called Mildred?

Answer: In Hailfire Peaks on the icy side

Mildred and her husband George are ice cubes and have been separated from one another ever since a blizzard hit Hailfire Peaks. Bizarrely, George found himself high above the Isle in Cloud Cuckooland, desperate to get back home. Unfortunately, the pair are never to be reunited (if you're going for full completion of the game, that is). Mildred has a Jinjo frozen inside her and the only way to get it is to smash her to smithereens. George requests to be nudged off his platform, having calculated that he is directly above the icy side of Hailfire Peaks and should fall safely back to the ground.

It turns out he's actually above the fire side, so he lands in hot water and melts away.
3. How many Jiggies are there to obtain in "Banjo-Tooie"?

Answer: Ninety

While its predecessor has 100 Jiggies to collect, "Banjo-Tooie" has a mere ninety. That's ten for each of the main worlds, plus another ten to be found across the Isle o' Hags overworld. In contrast to "Banjo-Kazooie", worlds are unlocked by actually completing a jigsaw minigame (like Bottles' bonus ones in the first game) in King Jiggywiggy's temple.
4. Which of these important moves is taught by Jamjars in Mayahem Temple?

Answer: Grip Grab

The Grip Grab is one of the first new moves of the game to be learned and finally gives you a way of getting up to ledges just a tiny bit higher up than a Flap Flip can reach. You can grab hold of a part of the terrain and either shimmy along to the left or right or pull yourself up. You can get Kazooie to peck away at enemies on either side whilst hanging too, so you're not completely defenceless.
5. In which of these areas of Witchyworld would you find a Jinjo behind a van door?

Answer: Area 51

Initially blocked by an electric fence, Area 51 contains a generator which you'll need Mumbo to power up. This makes other rides in the park available to play (which means there's Jiggy's to obtain). When you've found Humba Wumba and transformed into a van, bring it back to Area 51 and drive up to the van door to reveal a Jinjo.
6. What is Mumbo's special spell in Glitter Gulch Mine?

Answer: Levitate

Once you've found Mumbo and brought him to the train station, you can use his Levitate spell to right Chuffy the train and put it back on the tracks. This will allow you to get inside as Banjo and Kazooie and fight Glitter Gulch Mine's boss, Old King Coal. You can also use Mumbo's Levitate to get a boulder into the Crushing Shed that contains a Jiggy.

The grinders in the shed will spit out the Jiggy pieces and you'll need to collect them when they're scattered on the ground outside.
7. Which of these egg types is most useful in temporarily immobilising the octopian enemies known as Inkies?

Answer: Ice eggs

Inkies are the blue octopuses blocking your way in the tunnels of Atlantis in Jolly Roger's Lagoon. Their flailing tentacles make getting past a bit difficult. Luckily, shooting them with an ice egg will freeze them for a short while and allow you to pass safely. Alternatively, if you've been transformed into a submarine by Humba Wumba, a blast of its sonar will pacify it for long enough to slip by unscathed.
8. Do you need to take Roysten the fish to Hailfire Peaks?

Answer: No

Return to Spiral Mountain and you'll find a large-ish boulder that needs breaking. Underneath, you'll find Roysten the fish who needs desperately to get to some water. Placing him in the pool of water at the bottom of the eponymous spiral mountain will make him teach you to swim faster and increase your air gauge, letting you last longer underwater before needing to come up to take a breath.
9. What do you need to collect and trade to Mumbo and Humba Wumba to make use of their magic?

Answer: Glowbos

Two Glowbos can be found bouncing around each world, and they serve as the magical currency that lets Mumbo and Humba Wumba work their magic. Mumbo channels the power of the Glowbo through his wand at various pads designed specifically for him, while Humba Wumba merely asks that you throw the Glowbo in the pool in her wigwam and jump in after it to transform into something.

A Mega Glowbo can be found in Hailfire Peaks to turn Kazooie into a fierce green dragon.
10. Take the first letter of each of the previous nine answers (for answers with more than one word, use the first letter of the first word). They'll spell out the answer to this question: What is name of the Jinjo king found just outside Jinjo Village?

Answer: Jingaling

The benevolent King Jingaling beseeches you to rescue his Jinjo citizens after they were driven away from their homes by Grunty and her sisters. To help you on your way, he bestows you with your first Jiggy of the game. Not long afterwards, Grunty and co get the B.O.B. working and old Jingaling unfortunately bears the brunt of the blast, having his life sucked out of him and leaving him in a zombified state.

He is, of course, restored to life at the end of the game when you reverse the effects of the blast and avert potential disaster.
