Romeo and Juliet is not the only Shakespeare reference in the game. Macbeth and Hamlet are also referenced. After slaying a Goliath enemy the Goliath may say "Goodnight, sweet prince" which is a line from Hamlet.

The United States Postal Service's unofficial motto is "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds". The side mission "Neither Rain nor Sleet nor Skags" can be found on the bounty board in the Happy Pig Motel after restoring its power in the Three Horns - Valley area.

As the mission title suggests, it is a delivery type mission where you have to deliver five packages in less than 90 seconds in Split Skull Bay area in Three Horns - Valley.

Answer: Dirty Harry

The Unkempt Harold is play on words from the movie title "Dirty Harry". Also the red text in the info section is a reference to the line, "Now I know what you're thinking. Did he fire six shots? Or only five." from the "Dirty Harry" movie. The pistol can be obtained from any chest, but has an increased chance of dropping from a NPC called Savage Lee, who is found in the Marrowfield area of Three Horns - Divide. He can be heard when attacking Bullymongs or your character saying "Excelsior", which is a reference to the comic book writer Stan Lee's catchphrase which is used in his comics.

"The Good, The Bad and The Mordercai" is a mission in "Borderlands 2". This mission is similar to the plot from the movie "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" that also starred Clint Eastwood.

The red text effect on the Roksalt shotgun is just like what the quote says, as it has a very quick reload time compared to other shotguns in "Borderlands 2". The Roksalt shotgun is the reward for completing the mission Splinter Group. In the mission you have to kill Lee, Dan, Ralph, and Mick. If you can get the five lights to go green in the room after you kill the first four by using the switches, you can then spawn Flinter.

These five NPCs are a reference to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and their teacher Master Splinter.

"Doctor Who" features in a few references throughout the game. Hyperion loaders in the game can often be heard to say "Deleted!" which is close to what the Cybermen characters say in "Doctor Who". The NPC Claptrap uses the phrase "Allons-y!" which is the tenth Doctor's catchphrase in the "Doctor Who" series.

After the mission "Hell Hath No Fury", a list of killed workers is read out in the city of Opportunity. They are William Hartnell, Patrick Troughton, Jon Pertwee, and Tom Baker. All these names are the real names of the actors that have played the Doctor in the earlier series. One of the unlockable skins for the character Maya in "Borderlands 2" is called Rose Tailor.

This is a humorous change of the name Rose Tyler, who was the ninth and tenth Doctor's companion.

Rumours persist as to whether the video was staged or not, but what cannot be doubted is its hilarity when Leeroy lets out his blood curdling scream of "Leeroy JEENKINS" and storms a dungeon that his gaming friends have just spent minutes preparing to attack, leading to everyone getting wiped out. The popularity of the Jenkins video has led to Blizzard, the developer of "World of Warcraft" to add an achievement in his honour.

In "Borderlands 2" Jimmy Jenkins is a rare mini loader that can be farmed (farmed or farming is a gaming term to keep replaying the same stage) in the Wildlife Preservation Area. Throughout the world of Pandora where "Borderlands 2" is set, there are wanted posters for Jimmy in the more urban areas of the game. To complete the level five challenge, you have to find and kill Jimmy Jenkins fifteen times.

"Hungry Like the Wolf" reached the Top 5 on the UK charts.

The side mission "Hungry Like the Skag" can be found in the Arid Nexus - Badlands area of "Borderlands 2". The first part of the mission is found after killing a random Skag which then drops an echo recorder. After listening to the echo you have to kill four more random Skags to collect the four gun parts. When you have the all the gun parts, you have to deliver these to the bounty board in Fyrestone. As well as collecting XP as your reward you also get the unique gun called the Stomper. Fyrestone in the first "Borderlands" game was the starting point for the game.

The TV show "CSI Miami" features the song "Won't Get Fooled Again" which is sung by The Who. In the mission "Won't Get Fooled Again", you have to question Dr Zed, Moxxi and Marshall Friedman to determine which one of the Gutter brothers is the murderer.

The correct culprit is the one using a sniper rifle and as you watch Marshall Friedman shoot the culprit he comes out with a Horatio Cain-type pun about it being "a long shot". The reward for completing this mission is a unique pistol called Law. This pistol can be combined with a unique Maylay shield called Order.

These two items are of course a reference to another US TV show called "Law and Order".

Answer: Muhammad Ali

The quote used is the famous line from Muhammad Ali, "Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee". The Bee shield is an amplify shield that can be found in any chest but is more likely to drop from killing Hunter Hellquist in the Arid Nexus - Boneyard area of "Borderlands 2". What make this shield stand out from other amp shields is that there is no drain on the shield when firing a weapon.

The only time the amp effect does not happen is if your character has taken damage. The Bee shield when used in conjunction with the legendary shotgun Conference Call is the recommended way of defeating the level 52 boss Terramorphous the Invincible, if you are playing solo.

The first level of the "One Van Leaves" challenge is to destroy five vehicles while in a vehicle. To complete level five of this challenge you have to destroy two hundred vehicles while in a vehicle. The rest of the vehicle-based challenges in "Borderlands 2" are Hit and Fun, Blue Sparks, Turret Syndrome and Passive Aggressive. To complete all the level five challenges that are vehicle based you will have to kill a total of 1425 enemies.
