Question 1 of 10
1. The Trickster's weapon for basic attacks is the fittingly named "Polished Head-Smasher." What type of weapon is this? Hint

Question 2 of 10
2. The Trickster's power is known as "Showstopper" and, despite the aesthetic flamboyance and intimidating name, can be largely summed up to him simply throwing colored knives at Survivors, similarly to the Huntress and her hatchets. Also similarly to the Huntress, the Trickster will eventually run out of knives and must occasionally go somewhere to get more. Where can the Trickster replenish his supply of knives? Hint

Question 3 of 10
3. One component from within the Showstopper is the special ability, known as the "Main Event". This special ability is just as daunting and dangerous as it sounds, effectively making the Trickster's Showstopper much stronger for a limited time. Which of the following is one of the beneficial attributes of Main Event? Hint

Question 4 of 10
4. The Trickster, by virtue of starting with a lot of knives, must hit a Survivor with more than one in order to injure them. Assuming no add-ons, how many blades must he hit a Survivor with in rapid succession in order to injure them? Hint

Question 5 of 10
5. Every Killer gets three teachable perks that, when acquired, can be given to other Killers. The Trickster's first perk in that regard places all Survivors within the user's Terror Radius into the Exposed status effect when the Killer picks up and begins carrying a downed Survivor. What perk is this? Hint

Question 6 of 10
6. The Trickster's second teachable perk is a Hex based perk. When in play, any Survivor who fast vaults a window will cause that window to immediately be blocked off by the Entity for a moderate period of time. What perk is this? Hint

Question 7 of 10
7. The Trickster's third and final teachable perk works off of a token system- one token is gained for each hook on a different Survivor accumulated, to a maximum of four tokens. For every token gained, the Entity will block off the Exit Gate switch for a significant period of time. It also creates a loud noise notification whenever one gate has been approached and the perk activates, alerting the Killer as to which exit gate the Survivors have gone to. What perk is this? Hint

Question 8 of 10
8. This add-on, an ultra rare, afflicts a Survivor with the Exposed status effect whenever they are one or two blade hits away from being injured. What add-on is this? Hint

Question 9 of 10
9. This add-on, also an ultra rare, will add one more important beneficial trait to Main Event; upon Main Event ending, Trickster will find that all of his blades have been replenished thanks to this add-on. What is it? Hint

Question 10 of 10
10. The Trickster's base movement speed is slower than most Killers, but is still faster than a Survivor who is running. What is the Trickster's base movement speed compared to a running Survivor? Hint

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The Trickster's weapon for basic attacks is the fittingly named "Polished Head-Smasher." What type of weapon is this?

Answer: Baseball bat

Upon successfully hitting a Survivor with it, the Trickster will twirl the Polished Head-Smasher around his body in a 360 degree angle, as he essentially passes it from his right hand back into his left. While this is a baseball bat, it wouldn't get its name if it was just a run-of-the-mill variant: this particular one has a sizable curved blade alongside the barrel of the weapon, and is thus much deadlier than a typical baseball bat.

Answer: Lockers

At base, the Trickster may carry up to 44 knives at a time, and he must hit a Survivor multiple times in relatively rapid succession in order to damage them. He does throw them very quickly, which means injuring Survivors isn't terribly challenging up close, but it also means he is likely to burn his supply fairly quickly.

This means maps with plenty of lockers in a wide area, such as Azarov's Resting Place or Father Campbell's Chapel, are good for him for this reason.
3. One component from within the Showstopper is the special ability, known as the "Main Event". This special ability is just as daunting and dangerous as it sounds, effectively making the Trickster's Showstopper much stronger for a limited time. Which of the following is one of the beneficial attributes of Main Event?

Answer: Trickster briefly gains unlimited knives

Ordinarily, Trickster receives a small movement speed reduction when he throws knives. When under Main Event, this movement speed penalty no longer takes place, and the Trickster begins throwing his knives much more quickly to boot. That would normally mean he'd burn out of ammunition more quickly as a drawback, but Main Event renders that a non-problem, as he has an unlimited stock during the time Main Event is active.

At the end of Main Event, the Trickster will undergo a slight fatigue process similar to the Nurse, Legion or Blight when they fatigue.
4. The Trickster, by virtue of starting with a lot of knives, must hit a Survivor with more than one in order to injure them. Assuming no add-ons, how many blades must he hit a Survivor with in rapid succession in order to injure them?

Answer: Six

If you've lost track of how many blades you've hit a Survivor with, you can look at their character portrait. A pink circle will appear around them, and when the Survivor is one blade away from being injured, the circle will turn from pink to red. Be warned, if a Survivor goes a short while without being hit by a blade, the mechanic known as Laceration Meter will begin to regress, so the Trickster player must make sure to stay on them and prevent this decay from happening.
5. Every Killer gets three teachable perks that, when acquired, can be given to other Killers. The Trickster's first perk in that regard places all Survivors within the user's Terror Radius into the Exposed status effect when the Killer picks up and begins carrying a downed Survivor. What perk is this?

Answer: Starstruck

Starstruck is an amazing perk at messing with altruistic teams who may attempt to body block to stop the Killer from reaching a hook before the Survivor they're carrying is able to wiggle free. Doing so and taking a hit against a Killer with a readied Starstruck will cause them to immediately go down.

Moreover, this Exposed status lingers, so if a hook happened to be pretty close, the Killer could hook the downed Survivor and then go hunt the Exposed one, generating lots of pressure pretty quickly.

It pairs beautifully with the Agitation perk, as Agitation not only increases the Killer's speed as they carry a Survivor, to make it easier catching up to potential body blockers, but it also increases the Killer's Terror Radius, spreading Starstruck even more effectively.

This perk has proven to be devastating when used by the Nurse or the Doctor in particular; the former can use her power to mow down afflicted Survivors, while the latter has the means to increase his Terror Radius beyond the typical 32 meter norm, can spread Starstruck effectively, and can also use his power to easily locate affected Survivors and down them swiftly.
6. The Trickster's second teachable perk is a Hex based perk. When in play, any Survivor who fast vaults a window will cause that window to immediately be blocked off by the Entity for a moderate period of time. What perk is this?

Answer: Hex: Crowd Control

Crowd Control is a slightly reflavored version of Bamboozle. Unlike Bamboozle, Crowd Control activates when a Survivor fast vaults, not when a Killer vaults a window. Unfortunately, unlike Bamboozle, Crowd Control can and often will eventually be removed from play, as a Survivor is likely to find and cleanse the associated Hex totem, whereas Bamboozle does not suffer from this problem. Still, blocking off windows can create dicey situations where the Survivor is left without their typical resources to evade the Killer.

As such, Crowd Control can be a solid enough perk on most Killers, Leatherface and Hillbilly in particular due to their weakness to window vaults.

Answer: No Way Out

No Way Out pairs wonderfully with Remember Me. The combination will make it so any non-obsession Survivor will need to spend a minimum of time which is nearly the time required to complete a generator before they're able to open the gates and escape Additionally, this can create virtually unwinnable scenarios for the last Survivor alive when the Killer closes the hatch, as the Killer will gain a notification when one gate or the other is being opened, allowing them to easily make it in time to cut that Survivor off.

In general, No Way Out works well on any Killer, particularly one seeking to make an end game build.
8. This add-on, an ultra rare, afflicts a Survivor with the Exposed status effect whenever they are one or two blade hits away from being injured. What add-on is this?

Answer: Iridescent Photocard

This add-on is nasty in an open field, letting Trickster have an extremely easy down on a Survivor. Unlike most ultra rares, this one is unique for not truly changing up a Killer's play style; if a Survivor is proving stingy and consistently staying out of melee range, the Trickster can simply injure them with his blades and then keep throwing them.

The add-on thereby provides a major benefit without any sort of drawback, making it a great pick for sure.
9. This add-on, also an ultra rare, will add one more important beneficial trait to Main Event; upon Main Event ending, Trickster will find that all of his blades have been replenished thanks to this add-on. What is it?

Answer: Death Throes Compilation

This can save Trickster the time of having to go out of his way to reload his knives. Time saved at no cost is never a bad thing, making this add-on definitely worthwhile.
10. The Trickster's base movement speed is slower than most Killers, but is still faster than a Survivor who is running. What is the Trickster's base movement speed compared to a running Survivor?

Answer: 110%

The Trickster is unsurprisingly slower than melee oriented Killers as a balancing maneuver, as he has the advantage of being able to damage Survivors from afar, and his movement speed was slightly reduced to compensate. Still, he is slightly faster than a Survivor, so running them down is possible, albeit fairly cumbersome.
