Question 1 of 10
1. Apart from simply slaying the Dragon God boss, how can the player earn a second trophy from this fight? Hint

Question 2 of 10
2. Boss fights are already hard enough, but dealing with a boss that can regenerate HP can make some of them outright nightmare-ish. Thankfully, this mechanic is fairly rare throughout the game. Which boss of the following lacks the means to replenish their health? Hint

Question 3 of 10
3. The Penetrator boss, unbeknownst to the playerbase in the PS3 version of the game, began a trend shared only by "Dark Souls I's" Knight Artorias and "Dark Souls III's" Slave Knight Gael. What do these three share in common? Hint

Question 4 of 10
4. The Northern Regalia is one of the best weapons in the game, easily top three at worst. It requires one boss weapon, the Soulbrandt, to be mixed with the Demonbrandt and given to Blacksmith Ed alongside the False King Demon Soul. Which boss fight yields the Soulbrandt as a reward? Hint

Question 5 of 10
5. Unfortunately, those who seek the game's Platinum trophy have to use one character and play through the entire game at least three times. This is because one single boss fight grants a single soul that is needed to obtain two Miracles and a Spell that are required to Platinum. As you only get one soul per playthrough, this stands to make it quite tedious. Which boss fight is responsible for this? Hint

Question 6 of 10
6. Losing to bosses is unfortunate in general, and can set the player back time and currency. However, one boss can also threaten to steal level ups away from the player, and can thus be quite a bit more costly. What boss can exclusively steal soul levels from the player? Hint

Question 7 of 10
7. Kill it with fire! One boss in particular happens to be extremely weak to Fire, which can be a reprieve away from the tediousness that is world five. Which boss am I alluding to? Hint

Question 8 of 10
8. The Old Hero boss can be quite challenging to defeat. However, equipping one single item changes this and makes him trivially easy to defeat. What item is this?

Answer: (You can 'steal' victory with this one)
Question 9 of 10
9. The Lava Bow is the best bow in the game, a must for archery builds and a great idea for most builds in general. Which boss must the player defeat in order to get the right soul to give to Blacksmith Ed so that he may craft the Lava Bow? Hint

Question 10 of 10
10. The Judicator boss will topple over if hit right alongside a huge gash in its gut. Striking it enough will allow melee classes to hit the Judicator in the head with their weapons. Is this the only way to hit the Judicator in the head?

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Apart from simply slaying the Dragon God boss, how can the player earn a second trophy from this fight?

Answer: Slaying Dragon God with a specific weapon

Fret not, the ballistas still do the heavy lifting here, so this achievement is far from unreasonable. Once the two ballIsta shots knock Dragon God down, approaching him and finishing the job with the Hands of God grants that elusive second trophy.
2. Boss fights are already hard enough, but dealing with a boss that can regenerate HP can make some of them outright nightmare-ish. Thankfully, this mechanic is fairly rare throughout the game. Which boss of the following lacks the means to replenish their health?

Answer: King Allant

Phalanx can regenerate HP roughly every five seconds. Maiden Astrea will constantly regenerate HP, as will Leechmonger, and both will do so in large increments. King Allant, thankfully, has no such mechanic.
3. The Penetrator boss, unbeknownst to the playerbase in the PS3 version of the game, began a trend shared only by "Dark Souls I's" Knight Artorias and "Dark Souls III's" Slave Knight Gael. What do these three share in common?

Answer: Throwing a corpse at the player before the boss fight

The cutscene for Penetrator begins with the Fat Official, the one who has been trolling the player since the Tower Knight boss fight, laughing as he rushes towards the door to let the Penetrator in to deal with the player. Apparently, even the Penetrator himself grew irritated with this Fat Official because he impales the Official with his huge sword as soon as the Official unlocks the door, kills the Official, then tosses the corpse at the player, flicking him right off of his huge sword. The Penetrator then bows, holds his sword up high, and the fight begins.

Both Knight Artorias and Slave Knight Gael have virtually the same entrances. It is unknown why FROM Software retains the act of throwing a corpse at the player, but it has become a fan favorite fad which has served to make these bosses more memorable.

Answer: King Allant

King Allant is the last boss fight encountered in the entire game. He is pathetically easy to defeat. Upon beating him, the Soulbrandt will appear as a drop near where he was slain. Taking the Soulbrandt, Demonbrandt and False King's Soul to Blacksmith Ed will enable him to make the Northern Regalia.

The False King's Soul is obtained from the Old King Allant boss fight, and Demonbrandt can be picked up off of Old King Doran.

Answer: The Maneaters

Worse yet, the Maneaters in general are rather tedious to defeat. Their soul must be obtained three times over the course of as many playthroughs in order to successfully achieve the platinum trophy.
6. Losing to bosses is unfortunate in general, and can set the player back time and currency. However, one boss can also threaten to steal level ups away from the player, and can thus be quite a bit more costly. What boss can exclusively steal soul levels from the player?

Answer: Old King Allant

Old King Allant has one attack where his hand will light up a light blue color, and he will thrust it at the player. Successfully striking them will inflict heavy damage and steal a level away from them. If the player is attempting to de-level in order to experience more PvP, this can actually be a good thing. Otherwise, be very careful of this attack.
7. Kill it with fire! One boss in particular happens to be extremely weak to Fire, which can be a reprieve away from the tediousness that is world five. Which boss am I alluding to?

Answer: Dirty Colossus

Dirty Colossus is extremely weak to fire. Even a simple Fire Bomb will cause it to writhe in agony for several seconds. Players with the Lava Bow will experience a trivially easy win, simply spamming shots at the boss and winning pathetically easy.

Anyone lacking in fire will have a much more difficult time, however, as this boss is otherwise quite formidable.
8. The Old Hero boss can be quite challenging to defeat. However, equipping one single item changes this and makes him trivially easy to defeat. What item is this?

Answer: Thief Ring

The Old Hero is blind, and cannot actually see the player. He relies on hearing their movements to hit them. He has a humungous flaming Sword of Searching that will make quick work of the player if he learns where they are, killing even the bulkiest of characters in two hits.

However, the Thief Ring makes the player completely silent. The Old Hero will never be able to find them, and will do nothing but swing his sword randomly hoping to hit the player. This makes him extremely easy to defeat. With no Thief Ring, though, this boss fight becomes incredibly difficult.
9. The Lava Bow is the best bow in the game, a must for archery builds and a great idea for most builds in general. Which boss must the player defeat in order to get the right soul to give to Blacksmith Ed so that he may craft the Lava Bow?

Answer: Armored Spider

Armored Spider is the first boss encountered in the second world, so this is an early way to acquire the Lava Bow. The Lava Bow is an amazing bow that constantly deals Fire damage, which a lot of enemies are weak to.
10. The Judicator boss will topple over if hit right alongside a huge gash in its gut. Striking it enough will allow melee classes to hit the Judicator in the head with their weapons. Is this the only way to hit the Judicator in the head?

Answer: No

Ranged builds can simply shoot the Judicator in the head repeatedly until it dies. Doing so without causing the Judicator to be knocked over also yields a second trophy for defeating this boss.
