Answer: Repel

Repel knocks each unit one space away, charge pushes a single unit one space away, pierce cuts through one unit and makes you come out the other side, and raid does the same as pierce except to multiple targets.

2. In Ma Chao/Ma Teng's army, which officer has the 2nd highest WAR rating?

Answer: Pang De

Pang De was a very powerful warrior, he was even able to fight to a draw with the great Guan Yu after he joined Wei.

3. Whose army starts out with Chen Gong as a playable officer?

Answer: Lu Bu

Chen Gong is Lu Bu's strategist. The strategist Sun Ce starts with is Zhou Yu; Cao Cao starts with Guo Jia; and Liu Bei gets Zhuge Liang.

4. Which force can you find Gan Ning in before he joins Sun Ce?

Answer: Liu Biao

Gan Ning starts out as an enemy of Wu (Sun Ce), but eventually parts ways with Liu Biao and to a lesser extent, Huang Zu, and actually helps them eliminate his former allies.

Answer: Yuan Shu

He originally starts out with Kong Rong, you can fight against him if you are Cao Cao or Lu Bu (maybe Liu Bei too, I'm not sure). He also is in Liu Yong's army as the first opponent for Wu. Evenually, he joins Sun Ce.

Sun Ce and Sun Quan's sister, Sun Shang Xiang (or Shang Xiang in DT2) married Liu Bei. It was a plot made my Zhou Yu that ended up back firing.

Answer: Guan Xing

Guan Ping was an adopted son of Guan Yu, and Guan Suo simply wasn't Zhang Bao's sworn brother. Guan Shao was made up. After Guan Yu was killed, Guan Xing killed Pan Zhang, who made taken Guan Yu's weapon.

8. Which statistic determines the amount of morale each officer will start out with for each battle?

Answer: LEA

The higher the LEA, the more morale you begin with and the more officers you can have serving under you if you're in charge of an army. WAR is how powerful you are, INT lets you have a wider range to set up chain attacks if you are a strategist. STR was the original DT equivalent of the WAR stat.

9. What is the maximum number of tactics that one unit, all by itself, can do to one enemy if it is set up for a chain?

Answer: 6

Since each unit can only 'equip' 6 tactics, 6 is obiously the maximum. With a full regiment of 10 officers, the maximum number of tactics can reach the upper teens.

10. Which structure can not be built by any unit anymore?

Answer: Depot

Unlike in the original DT, you cannot build depots. If you engage in a battle in your own city, there's a good chance that there will be a depot or two for you there, but you can no longer build them.
