Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In which area do you get your second permanent party member?

Answer: In/Near Happy Happy Village

You technically get Paula in a shack near Happy Happy Village, which I consider the third town in the game. It's actually very near Twoson, past Peaceful Rest Valley, but it is still considered a separate town. You get an important item in this shack, the Franklin Badge, which deflects lightning attacks.

Another thing of note that I should bring up: you are unable to use PSI Teleport to go to Happy Happy Village. Way to go, Shigesato Itoi!
2. What is the warped mirror world that Ness and friends find behind the counter of a cafe?

Answer: Moonside

Ahh, Moonside. After Paula gets kidnapped in the Fourside department store, she winds up somewhere else. To find her, Ness and Jeff have to do different tasks, including defeating the Mani Mani statue in Moonside. I'm stuck in this part.
3. What is the beach-town where you can sample Magic Cake?

Answer: Summers

Summers is, as I said, a beach-town over the sea. It is right near the port-town of Toto. After having the Magic Cake, you take control of Prince Poo of Dalaam until you complete a certain task. Afterwards, you can buy Magic Tarts from the Magic Cake lady, which restore some Psychic Points (PP). Everything in Summers is also very expensive, so buy at your own risk.
4. What is the first area where you find UFO enemies?

Answer: Peaceful Rest Valley

Although you can find UFO's in all of these areas, you first encounter them in Peaceful Rest Valley, which connects Twoson to Happy Happy Village. These are lil' UFO's, but they get upgraded in later areas.
5. What is the only area that becomes a party member?

Answer: Dungeon Man

That question was probably a tricky one. Dungeon Man is a huge robot, standing very tall. It is piloted buy a man named Brickroad (he also made the Brick Road), who is a caricature of the guy who designed the dungeons in the game. Dr. Andonuts' scientific genius allowed him to become Dungeon Man, the first half-man, half-dungeon in history.
6. What is the final area of the game called?

Answer: Cave of the Past

The Cave of the Past is, of course, where you fight Giygas at the end of the game. It's in the past, like its name says, but time travel, according to Dr. Andonuts, could probably kill whoever tried to do it. So he had to place the brains of the Chosen Four into robots. One more thing: Mt.

Itoi, named after the game's creator, Shigesato Itoi, is where you fight the final boss in this game's prequel, the Japan-only release "Mother" for the Famicom.
7. What area is found only in Ness' mind?

Answer: Magicant

Ahh, Magicant, a zany place that appears when you get all eight melodies. When Ness is there, he is in his pajamas, and sees different people and things from his past. While in Magicant, he must defeat the evil of his mind, and, well, I won't spoil it. It's also the only place where you can buy Earth Pendants and Magic Pudding. After leaving Magicant, your Sound Stone disappears.
8. Where do you fight Starman Deluxe?

Answer: Stonehenge Base

The Stongehenge Base is one weird dungeon. It is filled with Starmen and Starman Supers, among other enemies. However, after defeating the boss, Starman Deluxe, they all disappear. This is also where you get the Sword of Kings, a rare drop from Starman Supers. I HIGHLY reccommend that you try getting the sword BEFORE facing Starman Deluxe.
9. What is the only place where you encounter dinosaurs as enemies?

Answer: Lost Underworld

There are two types of dinosaurs in the Lost Underworld: Wetnosaurs and Chomposaurs. Chomposaurs, like Starman Supers, can drop another one of the strongest weapons in the game: Paula's Magic Frying Pan. Lost Underworld is also where you can buy the Holy Frying Pan.
10. Where do you get the sixth melody?

Answer: Pink Cloud

Pink Cloud, located in Dalaam, is only accessible once you obtain the Carrot Key from Magnet Hill. Before you get it, there are rabbit statues blocking the door. However, by using the Carrot Key, they disappear, along with the key. Speaking of the Carrot Key, use it on the cow in Happy Happy Village for a little easter egg. Phew, this wraps up my second quiz. I hope you enjoyed it!
