Answer: It doesn't matter

Larry is never specifically told where the plane is going. It doesn't matter. He has to get off the plane before it lands or the KGB will get him. There is no hint for this other than perhaps the fact that there is a parachute and if you type "look" in the back of the plane it points out the emergency exit. Perhaps Al Lowe was thinking the player would conclude that the parachute and emergency exit had to be there for the reason. If you actually solved this puzzle based on this logic, without ever having to see firsthand what happens if you stay on the plane too long and without the aid of a hint book or some kind of walkthrough, then kudos to you.

Answer: Crawl under the bush

You have to make Larry get as close to the bush as possible without touching it, then type "crawl." You should be able to walk around the other side of the tree but the game won't let you.

If you answered "Throw a salmon at the bear..." then you have this game confused with "King's Quest 5." In a way, that's understandable considering the number of ways to die and the number of dead ends in both games.

Answer: Piranhas

There are a ton of piranhas in the stream. Apparently there are enough to kill one man. Larry must swing past the stream on the vines or else he'll satisfy the appetite of the piranhas.

Answer: Kalaulau

At the end of his journey, Larry meets Kalaulau, the daughter of the chief of the island. It's love at first sight on both ends. This is the one woman in this game Larry can have sex with and not get killed as a result (but it happens automatically not manually).

Answer: Ken Williams

Chief Kenawauwau is based on Ken Williams, the owner of Sierra. Sierra often has characters in their games who are based on people in their company.

Answer: Defeat Dr. Nonookee

The evil Dr. Nonookee has invaded this island and prevented the people from building a giant tourist trap. It is up to Larry to find his secret fortress and defeat him and save the island. Larry doesn't make the tourist trap himself; he just makes it possible for the people of the island to do so by defeating the villain.

One might think there will come a time in the game where you are ready to face the onklunk extraction specialist. If they show him, that usually means it will be important later in the game. In this case, no. Larry is never supposed to be inside the KGB headquarters. He just needs to avoid them altogether.

Answer: Yes

The evil women are slaves whom Dr. Nonookee hypnotized into doing his every deed. So where they take him is part of Dr. Nonookee's fortress. Larry must enter Dr. Nonookee's fortress willingly if he is to win the girl. This time he'll be prepared since he knows what he's getting into.

He enters a different part of the fortress but during the ending he does go to the room where the hypnotized women take him if they capture him earlier in the game. This time though, he uses the helicopter to get him and the ladies OUT of there rather than in there.

Answer: Polyester Patti

One of the women is playing the piano when Larry enters. Dr. Nonookee is forcing her to play something. When Larry defeats him and dehypnotizes the women, the keyboard player says "I'm Polyester Patti. Look for me in 'Leisure Suit Larry 3.'" After 'Larry 2' her name is changed to Passionate Patti.

There's the one in Los Angeles, the one on the boat, the one on the KGB island, the one run by Rosella in the airport, and there's one during the ending run by a witch doctor who does a complete makeover on Larry's body. Larry visits a barber shop six times in the game but there are only five of them. He visits the one on the KGB island twice.
