The release of the first "Prince of Persia" was in 1989, in 2D of course! You can unlock this classic game on your Playstation 2 by breaking down a wall in the game.

2. What are some of the powers of 'The Dagger of Time?'

Answer: All of These

The save points that you get after monster fights are also a part of the power of The Dagger of Time. The 'rewind' feature is the most useful and the one used most often throughout the game when you make mistakes!

3. Who is the person who tricks the Prince into unleashing the sands from the Hourglass?

Answer: The Vizier

Although Farah tried to stop the Prince from doing so, he inserted the Dagger of Time in the Hourglass and therefore unleashed the Sands of Time. At the end of the game, the Prince will undo everything - right from when they have not attacked the city yet. This mega-rewind takes us to the start of the game.

4. What is something weird that the Prince does during the course of the game?

Answer: He takes off parts of his coat

Yes, he does rip off his entire coat at the dungeon section of the game! He does not fight a Golem in "Sands of Time," although in "Warrior Within" he does - numerous times. He fights the Vizier and kills him - although it's in the present after he did a mega-rewind. Lastly, he must find Magic Fountains in hidden locations throughout the game to make the lifebar longer.

5. What is so special about the Prince's final sword? (The one he gets after he wakes up in the tombs)

Answer: It kills the enemies instantly

It is the biggest sword and probably most powerful sword in the game. The only downside, however, is that you can't get Sands (because you don't have the Dagger anyways, Farah has it) and so you have to be more careful.

6. Farah and the Prince are often in battle with sand monsters. Farah helps the Prince by weakening them with her bow. In turn what must the Prince do?

Answer: Protect Farah - if she dies it's game over

When you fight with Farah her lifebar in a shape of a bow pops up. You must not let her die because you'll get a Game Over- although her life does regenerate over time. You can undo her death using the Dagger of Time.

7. Where is the Dagger of Time located in Maharajah's Palace?

Answer: On top of a big headed statue in the treasure vault

The Dagger of Time is placed on top of the big-headed statue that you have to wall run up to. After the Prince takes the Dagger, a big boulder is about to crush him and he did a 'rewind' to save himself. This is in Maharajah's treasure vault, deep within the palace.

8. Why does the Vizier want the Hourglass and the Dagger of Time?

Answer: Immortality and great power

The Vizier can obtain immortality and great power from the Sands of Time, but he needs the Dagger in order to do so. Notice that he is very frail, and sickly; wheezing and coughing a lot during the moments when we see him.

9. What colour are the Prince's eyes?

Answer: Green

In the in-game movies near the end of the game, we see a close up of the Prince's eyes and they are green. Also, if you go into first-person camera mode and look at Farah you can see this. After quite some time the two characters talk. One of the things Farah says goes something like: "Your eyes... I've never noticed before. They're green."

10. Which of these traps is NOT in "The Sands of Time"?

Answer: Wall Pounders

Wall Pounders can be found in "Warrior Within" and "The Two Thrones", but not in "Sands of Time." Saw blades and spinning poles require good timing to traverse, and the spikes can be avoided if you walk - not run - over them.
