1. The game starts with the Great Deku Tree telling a fairy named what to find you?

Answer: Navi

Navi has widely been regarded as the most annoying partner in the history of gaming. Tatl and Tael are both from "Majora's Mask," and Ciela is from "Phantom Hourglass."

Answer: Twenty-three is Number one

Thirty-one is number two is the combination for "Master Quest." The other one is just random. These are just fancy ways of saying 231, 312, and 213.

3. After defeating Gohma, we can finally leave the forest. What is the name of the girl who gives Link the Fairy Ocarina?

Answer: Saria

You only get the Ocarina of Time after completing the third dungeon and getting all of the Spiritual Stones. Saria also has a secret that will be revealed later in the game, and in this series of quizzes.

Kaepora Gaebora is very annoying, because it takes a lot of B-button mashing to skip his dialogue, and it's mostly stuff that we know anyway. It's weird; he says that you need to go to Hyrule Castle, so why doesn't he just carry you there?

5. Now that the owl is gone, we can go to Hyrule Castle. How many guards does Link have to sneak past?

Answer: Ten

These guards have horrible vision. You can even bribe the guard at the gate into letting you in for a simple 10 Rupees.

6. Now that we know Zelda's Lullaby, we can visit new places! Impa says that we need to go to Kakariko Village, but we really need to go where?

Answer: Kokiri Forest

We need this to learn Saria's Song, one of the catchier songs in the game. You can talk to Saria whenever you want with Saria's Song.

7. Now, we go to Kakariko Village. Once we learn the Sun's Song, what kind of shield can we get early?

Answer: Hylian Shield

Usually, you need to go back to Hyrule Castle Town and rack up 80 Rupees for the Hylian Shield. With this little trick, you can get it easier. However, talking to the soldier at the gate will get you a discount.

8. Next, we must go to Death Mountain! What is the name of the Goron who gives us the Goron Bracelet?

Answer: Darunia

This lets us pick up Bomb Flowers and other plants. If you use a certain glitch, this also enables you to get something known as the Kokiri Gauntlets.

9. You need the Song of Storms to cheer up Darunia.

Answer: False

You actually need Saria's Song. One of the Gorons hints that Darunia likes music from the forest.

10. How do you defeat the boss of the Dodongo's Cavern?

Answer: Throw bombs in his mouth

King Dodongo is listed as Infernal Dinosaur as his subtitle. There is a pit of lava in the middle of the room that damages you if you walk on top of it, and yet somehow, he sinks into it once you defeat him. You can return here as Adult Link and see the somewhat decayed, old skeleton of King Dodongo.
