Instead of using regular pucks, it is replaced by monkeys that you must slide across the ice to get into the circles. This is to keep the game strange and interesting.

In the story mode, one of the bad guys had a robot cat you could drive around the map, so the creators decided to make it one of the challenges in which you had to race using this cat to finish with the best possible time. This is very hard, considering the fact that it is very hard to turn corners and stop.

Whenever Cortez is excited or is about to travel through time, he says "Time to split!". Many characters look at him strangely whenever has says that (i.e. Harry Tipper replies saying "Ouch! That's not cool man.")

The Siberia level is the only arcade level in which you can choose to drive a car. It can prove as an advantage because you can run your enemies over and pick up another player (not the bots). The only disadvantage to this is that since the car is open and has no hood or doors, you can easily be shot if standing still or driving through crossfire.

Each story level and arcade level has its own music. You can also choose which song you want playing in the background for arcade mode. Some music titles are just the name of the level they are meant for (i.e. Spaceport, Mansion of Madness, V.R., etc.) while some are for certain bosses (i.e. tank boss, Splitter Crow, etc.).

Some songs such as "Like a Monkey" and "Like a Robot" do not have any assigned event, but can be chosen to play in arcade mode.

When going to mapmaker, you can choose to make your own map or check out some sample maps that they have created. Some are very complex while others are quite simple. These are just to show you what you can to with mapmaker and how elaborate you can make your maps.

When infiltrating the enemy base with Harry Tipper, you come across a very whiny woman and a monkey locked in two prison cells. The reason for the woman being locked up is realistic, she's whinny and bratty, but who knows why they would lock the monkey up too!

Although the doctor constantly says that he cannot hold on the the tree he climbed up on any longer and that he is slipping, you actually have no time limit to kill the monster that was chasing him. You could take all the time in the world to kill the monster, with no consequence.

After you are done and he tells you what you need to know, you can kill him as well. While he is talking, however, he becomes invulnerable to all attacks.

Bear did not appear in story mode, but "TimeSpltters: Future Perfect" isn't the first game he has ever been in. He made his first appearance in "TimeSplitters 2" and his description according to the "TimeSplitters: 2" gallery was: "Rescued from an animal trap by Lola Varuska, Bear is fanatically loyal and will fight to the death to protect the circus.

He's had his fez ever since he was a cub." People like Edwina, Anya and Jo-Barf Casey, however, did appear in story mode.

The Handyman has many features to his physical profile: 1) He's a left hand; 2) He wears a wrist watch around his neck; 3) His arms and legs are matchsticks. According to "TimeSplitters 2", a person named Hatchet Sal chopped of the right hands of people after killing them and kept them under his bed. Handyman is supposed to be one of those hands, but in "TimeSplitters: Future Perfect", you can see that he is a left hand, not a right.

Robert One-Oh-Seven is actually a human who either convinced himself or is under the delusion that he was a carefully constructed robot sent to save the world. He wears cardboard boxes with pictures drawn on them to look like circuitry. When you select him in the character roster, he says "I am your servant, I am your worker".

The forms of Edwina that you can play as include Edwina (her human form) and Deadwina (her zombie form). There is also a form of hers you cannot play as and it is her ghost. This is only seen in Mansion of Madness, a story mode level. She appears in the attic of the mansion and shoots fire at you; however she cannot be harmed since you do not receive the ghost gun until later in the game.

R-110 and most other robots have a very high resistance to fire. R-110's and all of the other robots (excluding R One-Oh-Seven) resistance is 8, which makes them practically fireproof. The zombies can be set on fire as well, but are not completely fireproof.

Like many other arcade maps, there are objects you can interact with by pressing the action button (example: the X button on the Playstation 2). In the Subway arcade map you can pull levers to call two trains which can kill anyone on the tracks.

The Chinese map has been included in the "TimeSplitters" games since the first one. It also includes a small easter egg. In the main lobby of the building, there is a large gong and if the player shoots it it will produce a sound.
