3. January 8 Is set aside for which relaxing activity?

Answer: Bubble Bath Day

Bubble Bath Day has been celebrated since 1999. There is no clear record of who created it, but people enjoy them, so the special day will likely continue. Like all baths, bubble baths are very relaxing, and help to ease sinus congestion and sore muscles. An added bonus is the bubbles.

Besides being fun, they also provide a layer of insulation which helps the water to stay warmer longer.

5. International Beer Day is celebrated on how many continents on the first Friday of August every year?

Answer: 6

International Beer Day is truly an international celebration. It is celebrated in over 200 cities on six continents. Given its international focus, participants are encouraged to try beer from countries other than their own.
6. According to the scientific classification system, which class of animals is celebrated in October?

7. April 25 is International DNA Day. In which year was it first celebrated?

Answer: 2003

International DNA Day was first celebrated in 2003 to honour two important events in the history of the study of DNA. The first was the day in 1953 when scientists James Watson, Francis Crick, Maurice Wilkins, Rosalind Franklin and their colleagues published a paper about the structure of DNA.

The second event was the announcement in early April, 2003 that the Human Genome Project was virtually complete.
8. What type of liquor will you need to have to celebrate the special day on February 22?

9. Which November day honours an item that is especially important for clothing?

Answer: National Button Day

National Button Day happens on November 16th. It was first set up as a special day in 1938. The day is designed to recognize button collecting as an organized hobby.
10. Why was September 8 chosen for National Ampersand Day?

Answer: Ampersands in various print fonts can be used for the word "September"

The creator of National Ampersand Day discovered that when various fonts are used and the ampersand was substituted for most letters, it looked like the date "September 8". For example, the ampersand in "Edwardian Script" font looks like a capital "S", the ampersands in "akaHoggle", "Mistral", and "Caslon540" look like the letter "E" (used three times in the word), the ampersand in "Poppi-Laudatio" looks like the "B", and the ampersand in "Banco" script looks like the number "8". (He has not found a script with ampersands looking like the P, M, or R.) There is no real reason for this day other than the fact that the creator of the day likes ampersands and noticed that there was no day to celebrate his favourite symbol.
