HARDWOOD - Hardwood is plain wood used for simple things like floors and stairs.
HOLLYWOOD - Hollywood is the movie making industry, located in Los Angeles.
BIRCH WOOD - Birch wood is, obviously, wood from a birch tree. This tree is white with dark stripes here and there.
2. Jack, Hole, Berry
Answer: Black
BLACKJACK - Blackjack is a card game. The number cards represent their number (i.e. A two of hearts is worth two points); Jacks, Queens, and Kings all represent ten points; and Aces are worth either 1 or 11 points. Each player gets two cards, and the chance to ask for a third one. If you get a number higher than 21, you're automatically out of the game. Whoever has the most points, wins.
BLACK HOLE - A black hole is an area of outer space which such high levels of gravity that it sucks in everything nearby.
BLACKBERRY - A blackberry is a juicy berry that grows on a thorny bush.

SHOEHORN - A shoehorn is a flat, thin, piece of either plastic or metal. It helps ease your foot into your shoe.
BRAKE SHOE - "Brake shoes" are part of air brakes, and their purpose is carrying the brake lining. Devices used on tracks to slow down trains can also be called brake shoes.
CAR HORN - honk! honk! honk! Drivers use this to honk at other cars when there are traffic problems.
CAR BRAKE - There's a foot pedal by the driver's seat in a car, called a "brake" that can be pressed to stop the car. When used heavily in a sudden emergency people and things can go flying; so kids, wear a seatbelt!
AIR HORN - Air horns are similar to car horns. They can be used to shoo animals off the roads, warn pedestrians and other vehicles, etc. Air horns are extremely loud and can be heard from long distances.
AIR BRAKE - Formally known as "compressed-air-brake system", air brakes are a compressed air brake used for similar functions as a car brake, but for trains, trucks, and large vehicles.

TIN CAN - A tin can is typically used to hold food like beans and soup for long-term storage.
TIN MAN - The Tin Man is a character from 'The Wizard of Oz'. He wishes for a heart.
TIN SOLDIER - A tin soldier is a small figurine, usually dark green, in the shape of a little soldier.
5. Bread, Litter, Match
Answer: Box
BREAD BOX - Bread boxes are, hence the name, boxes to keep bread in. Bread boxes' main, if not only, function is to keep bread from going stale faster. Ceramic boxes are the best for bread.
LITTERBOX - A litter box is a box filled with sand that cats use to go, uh, poop and pee in. :o
MATCH BOX - A match box is a box filled with matches. Matches are little sticks that, when rubbed on a suitable surface, burst into flame, due to friction.
6. Corn, Last, Happy

CORNMEAL - Cornmeal is ground corn flour, commonly used to make corn tortillas. Mexican culture is known for corn tortillas and tortillas of any kind, actually (very delicious, in my opinion.)
LAST MEAL - Convicted prisoners are allowed one last meal of their choice before execution. In 2011, Texas stopped this practice and gave the prisoners whatever food was in the cafeteria, because a prisoner had ordered an expensive meal and refused to eat it.
HAPPY MEAL - A Happy Meal is McDonald's children's meal. It comes in a little box, usually with a toy.

HAT RACK - A hat rack is a metal tree-shaped long pole with branches, which are used to hang hats.
SPICE RACK - A spice rack is a shelf in the kitchen where bottles of spices are typically stored, but there are some racks designed to hold loose spices.
GUN RACK - A gun rack is a rack used to shelve guns. They can also be known as firearm racks; rifle racks; or arm racks.

CARDBOARD - Cardboard is brown papery material used commonly for boxes.

BOXING RING - A boxing ring is an enclosure where two opponents wrestle and punch each other.
WEDDING RING - A wedding ring is a piece of jewelry that a man and a woman exchange when taking wedding vows. It can also be called a wedding band.
KEYRING - A keyring is a small chain with your keys hooked on it. Other items can also be hooked on. Some are: little bottles of pepper spray for self-defense; decorative keychains; and bottle openers, just to name a few.
10. Eye, Wine, Slippers
Answer: Glass
EYEGLASS - An eyeglass is a piece of glass used to magnify objects and make them look bigger.
RED EYE - A common occurrence when taking a photograph is the eyes of any human can appear to be red in the picture.
WINE GLASS - A wine glass is certain type of glass with a big cup and long stem. It is commonly used for wine, but can be used for any other drink.
RED WINE - Red wines, like Monastrell, are made from purple/red grapes and tend to be less sweet than white wine, which is made from green grapes.
GLASS SLIPPERS - Glass slippers are shoes made out of glass. These popularly feature in the famous story of Cinderella.
RED SLIPPERS - In the 1939 film based on 'The Wizard of Oz', Judy Garland, starring as Dorothy, wore "ruby red" slippers. In the book, however, the slippers were really silver.
