David Jason played the part of Derek Edward "Del Boy" Trotter. Del is a charming and persuasive market vendor from South London, ready to sell anything to anyone in order to earn money. Del is married to Raquel, who he first met at a dating agency.
2. Nicholas Lyndhurst

Nicholas Lyndhurst plays the part of Dels brother Rodney Trotter, although Trigger calls him "Dave".
Although his presumed father is Reg Trotter, Rodney Charlton Trotter was born on November 2, 1960, to Joan Mavis Trotter (née Hollins) and Freddie "the Frog" Robdal. Rodney is Albert Trotter's great-nephew and Edward Trotter's grandson.
3. Buster Merryfield

Buster Merryfield played the part of Albert Gladstone Trotter, aka Uncle Albert. It was a lucky break for Merryfield, as Lennard Pearce, who played "Grandad", died suddenly in 1984. Rather than having a new actor play the part of Grandad, John Sullivan, who was the writer of the show, decided to introduce a new character who would be known as "Uncle Albert".
Albert joined the Royal Navy when he was 17, as the Second World War had started. In the show, Albert would often talk about the war when he was telling stories of his past. He had a catchphrase of "During the war," which became his trademark.
4. John Challis

John Challis played the part of Terrance Aubrey Boyce, or "Boycie" as he was known.
Boycie, a second-hand car dealer from Lewisham, has long been the wealthiest and most prosperous regular at the Nag's Head pub. Despite his material success and flashy lifestyle, he stays competitive with Del and their friends, appreciating their company while also taking pleasure in showing off his superiority.
In the episode "Sickness and Wealth", during a séance with the show's regular characters, the medium, Elsie Partridge, who is Uncle Albert's girlfriend, called out for "an Audrey. Audrey. No... Aubrey?" When Boycie mentioned that Aubrey was actually his middle name, Trigger responded, You never told us your name was Aubrey. Boycie replied, "And you would have if it had been your name?"
5. Nick Grimshaw

Nick Grimshaw was born on August 14, 1984 in Manchester, England. He began working at BBC Radio 1 in September 2007, co-hosting the youth program "Switch" with his close friend and fellow DJ Annie Mac. From October 2008 to May 2009, he presented Radio 1's "Weekend Breakfast Show".
Starting on June 1, 2009, he took over the 10 p.m. to midnight time slot on BBC Radio 1. On July 11, 2012, it was announced that Grimshaw would succeed Chris Moyles as the host of the Radio 1 "Breakfast Show". After 14 years on air, Grimshaw revealed on June 30, 2021 that he would be leaving Radio 1, with his final broadcast airing on August 12, 2021. On January 9, 2025, the BBC announced that Grimshaw would replace Lauren Laverne as the new presenter of BBC Radio 6 "Music's breakfast show".
6. Annie Nightingale

Annie Avril Nightingale was born on April 1, 1940, in Osterley, Middlesex, England. She was an English radio and TV presenter, recognized as the first woman to present on BBC Radio 1 in 1970 and the first female host on BBC Television's "The Old Grey Whistle Test," a role she held for four years (1978-1982). In addition to encouraging other women to pursue careers as DJs and broadcasters, Nightingale was an expert in promoting new and underground music.
Nightingale began working at BBC Radio 1 on February 8, 1970, hosting a Sunday evening program. After a trial period on Sunday nights, her initial broadcasts were afternoon daytime slots, taking over from Terry Wogan. In April 1970, she became one of the presenters of the singles review program "What's New", before moving on to host a late-night progressive rock show called "Sounds of the 70s", alongside Alan Black, John Peel, Bob Harris, and Pete Drummond.

Sara Cox is a writer, TV host, and radio DJ. Between 1999 and 2014, she hosted a number of BBC Radio 1 shows, notably the "Breakfast Show" from April 2000 until December 2003. She then relocated to Radio 2, where she has hosted the "Teatime Show" beginning in April 2019.
Sara has hosted a number of Radio 1 live events across the UK. She has also performed at the Radio 1 "Love Parade" and Glastonbury and has even taken her show to Ibiza.

Chris Evans was born on April 1, 1966 in Warrington, England. Chris has been an all-rounder in the entertainment business. Not only has Chris been a Radio 1 DJ, but he has also been a television presenter and producer for radio and television.
In early 1992, Evans joined Radio 1 to host a Sunday afternoon programme titled "Too Much Gravy", taking over from Phillip Schofield. The show continued until September 1992. In April 1995, Evans came back to Radio 1 to replace Steve Wright as the host of the main weekday "Breakfast Show". However, in January 1997, Evans was dismissed from Radio 1 after he requested to work a four-day week. He wanted Fridays off to concentrate on "Thank Four It's Friday" (TFI Friday), but his request was denied.
Chris Evans bought Virgin Radio from Sir Richard Branson in 1997 for £85 million after leaving Radio 1, and he sold it a few years later for £225 million.
9. Paul Daniels

On April 6, 1938, Newton Edward Daniels, also known as Paul Daniels, was born in the South Bank area of Middlesbrough. Paul Daniels is regarded as one of the most well-known magicians in Britain. His 15-year run on the BBC series "The Paul Daniels Magic Show" (1979 to 1994) made him a household name.
The tagline "You'll like this... not a lot, but you'll like it!" and Daniels' marriage to Debbie McGee, his assistant, were well-known. In 1982, he became the first magician from outside the United States to win the Academy of Magical Arts' "Magician of the Year" Award.
Paul's significant breakthrough occurred in 1970 when he appeared in the ITV show "Opportunity Knocks", a talent competition. Although Paul finished in second place, this experience opened doors for his future achievements. In 1978, he took on the role of host for his own Sunday night television program titled "Paul Daniels' Blackpool Bonanza". Subsequently, the BBC presented him with his first series, "For My Next Trick".
Apart from magic shows, Paul has hosted quiz shows including "Odd One Out", "Every Second Counts", and "Wipeout"; all were shown on BBC TV.

David Blaine was born on April 4, 1973, in New York City, U.S., In 1973. David Blaine was a well-known illusionist and endurance performer who revolutionised street magic by focusing on individual, reaction-based tricks before progressing to severe, potentially fatal endurance feats. He is famous for performing for every American president since Bill Clinton, holding his breath for almost 17 minutes, and being buried alive for a week.
Blaine performed the David Blaine Ascension feat in 2020. He climbed, holding 52 helium-filled balloons that were harnessed. This stunt happened in Page, Arizona, on September 2, 2020. It was live-streamed on YouTube. Blaine reached a height of 7.6 kilometres, or 24,900 feet, above sea level. Then he let go of the balloons and landed safely by parachuting.
11. Steven Frayne

Steven Frayne was born on December 17, 1982, in Bradford, West Yorkshire. He is more widely recognised in the entertainment industry by his previous stage name, Dynamo. He received the Best Entertainment Programme award at the Broadcast Awards in both 2012 and 2013 for his television series, "Dynamo: Magician Impossible", which aired from July 2011 until September 2014.
His "Seeing Is Believing" arena tour attracted over 750,000 attendees across the UK, Australia, South Africa, and New Zealand. Dynamo was a member of The Magic Circle and was later elevated to the status of Associate of the Inner Magic Circle (A.I.M.C.).
Among Dynamo's remarkable illusions is walking on the River Thames, a feat that astonished the public. He also levitated in front of the Christ the Redeemer statue in Brazil and performed the illusion of pulling jewellery through solid glass-an act that even left celebrities baffled.

David Copperfield was born on September 16, 1956, in Metuchen, New Jersey, U.S. David Copperfield is an American magician and illusionist known for being the most commercially successful magician in history, according to "Forbes" (an American business magazine).
His illusions have included the vanishing of a Learjet aircraft in 1981, the disappearance and subsequent reappearance of the Statue of Liberty in 1983, levitating above the Grand Canyon in 1984, and traversing through the Great Wall of China in 1986.
Another brilliant illusion was "The Death Saw". In 1986, Copperfield presented a fresh interpretation of the traditional illusion of sawing a woman in half. His death was an illusion that resembled an escape that had gone awry. He sawed himself in half using a massive spinning saw blade. This performance evolved into one of his most famous illusions.
David Copperfield has amassed considerable wealth through his magic performances and illusions. As reported by Forbes, in 2015, David generated an income of $63 million within a single year and is currently believed to be a billionaire.
