Lestat was part of Anne Rice's "Vampire Diaries" series who made his debut in "Interview With the Vampire". He was a nobleman who was turned into a vampire by Magnus. The reclusive and lonely Lestat also made appearances in Rice's novels including "The Queen Of The Damned" and "Blood Canticle".
2. Abraham Van Helsing
Answer: Dracula (1897)
Van Helsing was the nemesis of Count Dracula. The vampire hunter made his appearance in Bram Stoker's "Dracula" when the doctor was called in to help Lucy Westerna. When Van Helsing discovered she had been bitten by Dracula, he was on a mission to kill the vampire.
3. Ben Mears
Answer: Salem's Lot (1975)
Ben Mears is the main character in Steven King's novel "'Salem's Lot". Mears was a writer who returned to Jerusalem's Lot to write his next novel about the spooky Marsten House. The book's title was shortened to "'Salem's Lot" as an abbreviation of Jerusalem's Lot. While in the city, Mears discovered the small Maine town was full of vampires.
4. Kurt Barlow

Kurt Barlow is the main vampire in Steven King's "'Salem's Lot". When a writer comes back to the town, he discovers that the old Marsten House in Jerusalem Lot was purchased by an Austrian immigrant named Kurt Barlow. As the story progressed, we learned that Barlow was a vampire.
5. Jonathan Harker
Answer: Dracula (1897)
Jonathan Harker played a key role in Bram Stoker's "Dracula". Harker was an estate agent who was called about to broker a deal with Count Dracula. Harker takes a train to Transylvania to see the Count and soon becomes a prisoner in his castle.

Richard Mattheson brought us the story of "I Am Legend", a chronicle of Robert Neville and his last-man-on-earth saga after an apocalypse. Neville soon discovers that humans had been infected by a pandemic called Vampiris and turned into blood sucking creatures.
In the story, Ben Cortman was Neville's best friend, but after being infected turns into the main antagonist of the horror story.
7. Bella Swan
Answer: Twilight (2005)
Isabella "Bella" Marie Swan is the lead female character in Stephenie Meyer's "Twilight". The character begins the book as a seventeen year old high school student who moves to Washington. She falls in love with a vampire named Edward and learns about his coven of vampires. Ultimately, Bella accepts Edward's lifestyle, they marry, and she becomes Bella Cullen.
8. Edward Cullen
Answer: Twilight (2005)
Edward Cullen is the lead male character in Stephenie Meyer's "Twilight". Meyers' vision was that a normal teenage girl would fall in love with a charismatic young male vampire. Edward has the vampire power of telepathy and used this prominently in the original book and the sequels to follow.

Danny Molloy was originally the young non-vampire reporter who conducted the interview with vampire Louis de Pointe du Lac in Anne Rice's legendary book. The reporter was fascinated by his lifestyle and how Louis was turned into a vampire. As the story progressed, Molloy's life took a major change.
10. Robert Neville
Answer: I Am Legend (1954)
Doctor Robert Neville played the role of the last man on Earth in "I Am Legend" written by Richard Matheson. He was a military virologist who was studying the pandemic that wiped out the human population and hoping to find a cure. As the story progressed, Neville discovered that humans had turned into blood sucking, nocturnal vampire-like creatures after contracting the disease.
