Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Mark Hunter

Answer: "Pump Up the Volume"

"Pump Up the Volume" is a 1990 drama film with a coming-of-age romance tied to it. Christian Slater assumes the role of Mark Hunter, the film's main character. Notable names Slater appeared alongside in this movie include Samantha Mathis, Annie Ross and Andy Romano.
2. Adam

Answer: "Untamed Heart"

"Untamed Heart" released in 1993. In it, Christian Slater plays as one of the film's main characters, Adam, who is a lover of another main character, Caroline. Bizarrely, the film ends with Adam passing away after being struck in the head by a hockey puck.
3. Charlie "Lucky" Luciano

Answer: "Mobsters"

In 1991, Slater became the eighth actor to take on the role of Lucky Luciano. In the "Mobsters" movie releasing in 1991, Slater's portrayal of Lucky Luciano is meant to be semi-fictitious; elements of it are dramatized. Notably, when performing in this capacity, Christian Slater appeared alongside Patrick Dempsey and Richard Grieco.
4. Robert Boyd

Answer: "Very Bad Things"

Not only does Slater appear in this film alongside Cameron Diaz, but funnily enough, his character Robert ends up betting beaten up pretty badly by Diaz's character, Laura, amidst a confrontation at Laura's wedding. Laura's fiance Adam and Slater's character Robert get in a fight over life insurance money, which results in Laura turning into the aggressor over a wedding ceremony she was essentially obsessed with.
5. Riley Hale

Answer: "Broken Arrow"

Riley Hale is a Captain of the United States Air Force in this film. This film was notable for featuring John Travolta taking on the main character, Vic Deakins. As well, Samantha Mathis once again takes on a role alongside Christian Slater in this one, taking on the role of Terry Carmichael.
6. George Kuffs

Answer: "Kuffs"

Christian Slater has actually come out and publicly explained his desire for this role in particular. He stated that he wanted to take it on due to a lack of need for any accent or the need to be historically accurate, affording him more room for creativity in how he chose to portray the character.

This movie was directed by Bruce Evans and Raymond Gideon, who reportedly designed the entire script specifically expecting to cast Christian Slater as Officer George Kuffs, the main character of the film. During the movie, Kuffs frequently breaks the fourth wall and speaks directly to the audience.
7. Clarence Worley

Answer: "True Romance"

Amusingly, this movie was initially a complete commercial failure, proving to bomb out quite fantastically in box office sales. However, it would gain a resurgence once it was out of the public eye and mainly being analyzed by dedicated film critics. Slater's character, Clarence, is portrayed as something of an Elvis Presley fanatic who is the main character of the film.
8. William

Answer: "Jimmy Hollywood"

In this film, Christian Slater takes on the role of William, who is essentially the right hand man of Jimmy Alto (Joe Pesci), the main character of the film. Notable film critic Roger Ebert harshly criticized this film, but in doing so praised the actors, such as Slater, for essentially working with a script that weighed them down.
9. Dave Rudabaugh

Answer: "Young Guns II"

Uniquely, this was a film where Slater took on a character designed to be hated by the audience. Dave Rudabaugh plays the part of a relatively minor antagonist in this film, as a member of the hostile Regulators who is also very racist and aggressive with the film's protagonists.

This film had many big names for Slater to weigh in with, but the biggest would have to have been Emilio Estevez, who played the role of 'Billy the Kid'.
10. Nick

Answer: "The Wizard"

This film is unique as it was essentially used to promote the forthcoming release of "Super Mario Bros 3", which had not released when this film came out. SMB3 is one of the video games used in this film alongside "Ninja Gaiden" and a handful of fictitious video games.

As for the film itself, Slater plays the role of Nick Woods. Woods is a rather minor character in this film, but is the brother of Jimmy Woods, the film's main character.
