'Jambalaya,' the song, was written by Hank Williams and later performed by John Fogerty. Jambalaya, the food, is a Cajun rice dish that's really yummy.
3. Kyu Sakamoto:

'Sukiyaki' reached number 1 on the US Billboard Charts in 1963. The actual Japanese title translated into English is something like 'I look up when I walk' It was later remade by A Taste of Honey. I have no idea what this song has to do with the dish named sukiyaki.
