Steffi Graf won her first Wimbledon singles title in 1988, in a repeat of the previous years final she defeated the defending champion Martina Navratilova (5-7, 6-2, 6-1). Graf went on to win the ladies' singles at Wimbledon on six further occasions between 1989 and 1996.

The year 1988 proved to be the most successful of her career as she won the ladies' singles title at all four grand slam tournaments that year (Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon, and US Open), as well as the gold medal in the ladies' singles at the Summer Olympic Games in Seoul. She also won her only Grand Slam doubles title in 1988, partnered with Argentine player Gabriela Sabatini, the duo won the women's doubles title at Wimbledon, plus in addition to all these titles she also won a bronze medal in the women's doubles at the Seoul Olympics alongside fellow German, Claudia Kohde-Kilsch.

She retired from the women's tour in August 1999. During her career she won a total of 22 Grand Slam singles titles; Wimbledon x 7, French Open x 6, US Open x 5, and Australian Open x 4.

"Shaun of the Dead" is the first film in the Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy, the others being "Hot Fuzz" (2007), and "The World's End" (2013). The trilogy which takes its name from the repeated references to Cornetto ice cream cones that occur during the three films is classed as an anthology series because the films do not share a storyline and feature a completely different cast of characters in each.

The trilogy's three films were co-written by Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg, each of whom had an additional role within the series, Wright was the director for all three of the films whilst Pegg played the lead character in each of them.

Usher Raymond IV was born in Dallas, Texas. He released his self-titled debut album in 1994 and had his first Hot 100 No.1 single in 1998 with the song "Nice & Slow", two further chart-topping singles followed in 2001 with "U Remind Me" and "U Got It Bad".

Usher had to wait a further three years until 2004 to claim the top spot again, this time with the song "Yeah!" which featured American rappers Lil Jon and Ludacris. He followed that up with the songs "Burn" and "Confessions Part II" for his second and third No.1 hits of the year. His fourth and final chart-topper of 2004 was "My Boo" a duet with Alicia Keys. All four of these 2004 hits featured on Usher's fourth studio album, "Confessions", which itself was also a No.1 hit claiming the top spot on the Billboard 200 and Top R&B/Hip-Hop album charts.

Answer: Jane Fonda

Jane Fonda was born in 1937 in New York City. She is the daughter of actor Henry Fonda whilst her brother Peter and niece Bridget are also actors. She has won two Academy Awards for Best Actress for her roles in the films "Klute" (1971) and "Coming Home" (1978) and was nominated for the same award for her performance in "The China Syndrome" (1979).

Roger Vadim (1928-2000) was born in Paris, France. He made his directorial debut with the 1956 romantic drama film "And God Created Woman" that starred his then wife, French actress Brigitte Bardot. Some of the other films he directed include "The Game Is Over" (1966), and "Barbarella" (1968), both of which starred Jane Fonda.

Fonda and Vadim started dating in December 1963 whilst filming "Circle of Love" (1964). The couple married at the Dunes Hotel in Las Vegas in August 1965 and their daughter, Vanessa Vadim was born in September 1968. The marriage lasted until January 1973 when the pair got divorced.

Sharon Stone was born in Meadville, Pennsylvania in 1958. In 1977 she started working as a fashion model in New York City before moving to Europe to further her career. A few years later she decided to quit modelling and moved back to New York to pursue a career in acting. Her first acting role was in Woody Allen's 1980 comedy-drama film "Stardust Memories". In the early 1980s she made guest appearances in the American television series "Remington Steele", "Magnum, P.I.", and "T. J. Hooker". In 1990 she starred opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger in the sci-fi action film "Total Recall". Some of the other films she has starred in include, "Casino" (1995), "Catwoman" (2004), and "Basic Instinct 2" (2006), a sequel to the original 1992 film.

Phil Bronstein was born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1950. His first professional job was as a reporter for the San Francisco area television station KQED. In 1980, he went to work for The San Francisco Examiner newspaper, initially as a beat reporter before becoming a foreign correspondent and investigative journalist. Bronstein would continue in these roles until 1991 when he was promoted to executive editor. In 2000, the Examiner's parent company the Hearst Corporation purchased the San Francisco Chronicle, the other major daily newspaper in the San Francisco area. Bronstein subsequently switched to working for the Chronicle and became senior vice president and executive editor.

The couple got married in February 1998, in a ceremony that took place at Stone's home in Beverly Hills. They adopted a baby son who they named Roan Bronstein in 2000. The couple separated in 2003, and the marriage was officially ended in January 2004 when the divorce proceedings were finalized.

Answer: Hilary Duff

Hilary Duff was born in Houston, Texas in 1987. Her first major acting role was playing Wendy the Good Little Witch in the 1998 American fantasy film "Casper Meets Wendy". In 2001 she began starring in the television series "Lizzie McGuire". The series ran from 2001-2004 and featured 65 episodes spread across two seasons. Duff also starred in "The Lizzie McGuire Movie" (2003), with the events of the film taking place after the second season of the original television series. She is also a successful singer-songwriter and has had multiple Top 10 Albums on the Billboard 200 Album Chart.

Mike Comrie is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player who was born in Edmonton, Alberta in 1980. He made his NHL debut playing for the Edmonton Oilers midway through the 2000-01 season. Comrie would also go on to play for the Philadelphia Flyers, Phoenix Coyotes, Ottawa Senators, New York Islanders, and the Pittsburgh Penguins during his NHL career. He also represented Canada in international matches on 25 occasions. Comrie retired from hockey in February 2012 because of a hip injury.

Duff and Comrie began dating in 2007 and got married at the San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara, California in August, 2010. Their son Luca Comrie was born in 2012. The couple separated in January, 2014 and the divorce was finalized in February, 2016.

Answer: William McKinley

William McKinley (1843-1901) was shot twice in the abdomen by anarchist Leon Czolgosz on the 6th September 1901, he died eight days later after his wounds became infected with gangrene. Czolgosz was arrested immediately after the shooting and was convicted of first degree murder and sentenced to death. His execution took place in the electric chair at Auburn Prison in upstate New York on the 29th October 1901.

William McKinley was a member of the Republican Party and became the 25th President of the United States on the 4th March 1897 when he succeeded Democrat Grover Cleveland. McKinley's assassination came just 10 months after securing a second term as president with victory at the 1900 election against the Democratic Party candidate William Jennings Bryan. McKinley was succeeded as president by his vice-president Theodore Roosevelt, who would go on to hold the role until 1909.

Answer: Ray Kroc

Ray Kroc (1902 - 1984) purchased the McDonald's brand from brothers Maurice and Richard McDonald in 1961 having worked for them since 1954 as their franchising agent. McDonald's grew at a phenomenal rate under Kroc's ownership due to a policy known as aggressive expansion that saw the company initially open stores all across the United States at a rapid pace before going international in 1967. In 1973 Kroc retired from running McDonald's and the following year he purchased Major League Baseball side the San Diego Padres for $12 million. He would continue to own both McDonald's and the Padres up until his death from heart failure in 1984.

The incorrect answers were also owners of fast food franchises, David Edgerton and James McLamore co-founded Burger King in 1953, whilst Dave Thomas began Wendy's in 1969.

Answer: Roger Maris

Roger Maris (1934-1985) made his major league debut for the Cleveland Indians in 1957 before being traded to the traded to the Kansas City Athletics during the 1958 season. In 1960 he was traded to the New York Yankees and would remain there until 1966. In 1961, Maris surpassed fellow New York Yankee Babe Ruth's single-season home run record of 60 homers, which had stood since 1927. Maris hit his 61st and final home run in the last game of the regular season on the 1st October 1961 at Yankee Stadium against the Boston Red Sox.

In December 1966, Maris was traded to the St. Louis Cardinals and helped them to win the 1967 World Series. He retired from playing at the end of the 1968 season. He was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in 1983 and died of the disease two years later. He was aged 51.

The incorrect answers were all pitchers who played for the New York Yankees in their four games to one victory against the Cincinnati Reds in the 1961 World Series.

Answer: Louis Jourdan

Louis Jourdan (1921-2015) was cast in his first acting role in French director Marc Allegret's 1939 film "Le Corsaire" (The Pirate), the film however was never completed because of the outbreak of World War II. Despite this early setback to his career Jourdan would continue to work in Europe, mainly Italy and France, throughout the duration of the war.

In 1946, American film producer and studio executive David O. Selznick offered Jourdan a contract and he made his Hollywood debut in Alfred Hitchcock's 1947 film "The Paradine Case", which also starred Gregory Peck and Charles Laughton. Jourdan would go on to appear in other American films such as, "Madame Bovary" (1949), "Three Coins in the Fountain" (1954), and "Gigi" (1958). In 1983, he starred alongside Roger Moore in the James Bond movie "Octopussy". Jourdan played Kamal Khan, an exiled Afghan prince who works for the title character Octopussy, played by Swedish actress Maud Adams. He retired from acting in 1992 and spent the rest of his life living in Los Angeles, he died at his Beverly hills home in 2015 aged 93.

The incorrect answers also played villains in James Bond films that starred Roger Moore as 007. Anglo-French actor Michael Lonsdale portrayed Hugo Drax in "Moonraker" (1979), Englishman Julian Glover featured in "For Your Eyes Only (1981) as Aristotle Kristatos, whilst American star Christopher Walken was cast as Max Zorin in "A View to a Kill" (1985).
