Michael Phelps was born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1985. Widely considered the most decorated Olympian of all-time, Phelps won a total of 28 medals during four Olympics (2004-2008-2012-2016), including 23 gold medals. Phelps was not just a specialist in one event. He won gold in butterfly, individual medley, freestyle, and backstroke events.
