Elizabeth was the wife of Zecharias and the mother of John the Baptist, as per Luke 1:5-25. She miraculously gave birth to John when she was elderly.
Tamar was initially the wife of Er and later Onan, sons of Judah. (See Gensis 38.) She was also involved in an intimate relationship with her father-in-law.
Adah was one of two wives of Lamech, as per Genesis 4:23. She has the distinction of being the second woman mentioned in the Bible after Eve.
Sarah was the wife of Abraham and miraculously gave birth to Isaac when she was 90 years old, as per Genesis 17.
Abigail was the wife of Nabal, before she ended up becoming the wife of David. (See 1 Samuel 25:2-44.)
Leah and Rachel were both wives of Jacob, as per Genesis 29:15-30. According to Scripture, Jacob loved Rachel and basically had little time for Leah.
Asenath was the wife of Joseph, one of the twelve sons of Jacob. (See Genesis 41:45.) She was the mother of Manasseh and Ephraim.
Gomer was a prostitute who became the wife of Hosea, as per Hosea 1:2. She was the mother of two sons, Jezreel and Lo-ammi, and a daughter, Lo-Ruhamah.
Ruth was the wife of Boaz, as per Ruth 4:13. They were the parents of Obed who was the grandfather of David.
There is no record in Scripture about Dinah, Tamar, Mary Magdalene or Mary and Martha being married.
According to Scripture, Dinah, the daughter of Jacob, and Tamar, the daughter of David were both sexually assaulted. In Biblical times, women who were sexually assaulted seldom, if ever, married.
(To be fair, tradition tells of Dinah marrying Job, but there is no record of this happening in the Old Testament)
Meanwhile, the New Testament tells of Mary Magdalene having seven demons driven out of her by Jesus and of Mary and Martha living in Bethany with their brother Lazarus. There is no record in Scripture telling of Mary Magdalene, Mary and Martha being married. Yes, it's possible they married later in life, but bear in mind, this quiz is based on the information presented in Scripture.
