Answer: Grover Cleveland Alexander

Alexander played from 1911-1930 for the Phillies, Cubs and Cardinals. In 1916, he was a remarkable 33-12 with an ERA of 1.55, 16 shutouts, and 8.63 men on base per 9 innings pitched. Doyle Alexander played from 1971-1989 and won 194 games. The Braves traded Doyle to the Tigers for a prospect towards the end of the 1987 season to help in a pennant drive.

He went 9-0 and the Tigers won the division. He retired two years later. The 20-year old prospect was John Smoltz. Andujar won 127 games mostly for the Cardinals. Adcock was a batter.
